Insaiyan Love

Chapter 1 ~ Where It Began

"W-where..." Itami started to say, her voice a little cracky, whilst looking around and holding her head as she slowly attempted to sit up.

"Ah, you're..uhm..awake!" Little gotex exclaimed. Excited, yet concerned, for the little girl as his tail slightly wiggled behind him.

Once she heard his voice she looked at him, but didn't say a word. She wanted to ask him who he was, but the words just wouldn't come out. She was never too fond of others. Itami liked to keep to herself. She liked being alone. The only thing she did do was wrap her tail around her waist and just simply looked away.

"Hey! Where did you get all the bruises and cuts?!..Are you okay, miss?!..You gotta tell me!" He asked, his tail not really wiggling anymore.

"I..don't have to..talk to you.." She said, in a soft tone.

"But..you could at least thank trunks! For saving you, that is!"

"Saving me..?" She whispered, almost confused.

"You were laying like you were dead in the middle of nowhere!?" Gotex says as he crosses his arms over his chest.

"Oh.." She says, her head now facing downward, as if realization just hit her. "It uhm..it doesn't matter.." She replies, now uncomfortably scratching her arm.

"A thank you doesn't matter?! Is that what you're saying?" He asked, as if it was the biggest deal in the world.

"N-no..I..I didn't mean the thank you..uhm.." She said, closing her eyes.

Gotex just sighed and ended up leaving the room, not wanting to bother her too much or end up making her upset.

A couple hours pass by as Itami gets some sleep and gotex had gone to eat something. There were times where an adult would come in the room to check on her, but she never spoke a word. Mostly just pretended she was asleep..even when she wasn't. It's not that she hated them or didn't like to talk. She just felt..uncomfortable. Perhaps, even, uneasy. Not that she didn't trust them, but because she wasn't use to the attention. Not use to adults and others actually caring about her. About her well being and how she was doing every minute or hour of the day.

It amazed her that they'd never give up on asking. Gotex even offered her food and kept her company the whole time, for the most part. Often times they'd talk as if they'd always known eachother, even though she always gets those random moments where she'll stop and realize that she doesn't know this boy at all.

Gotex, on the other hand, was curious in knowing all of the answers to his questions. Though, he didn't want to push it. He just wanted to talk and keep the tension in the room at a comfortable one. He was concerned every time she'd sigh and look the other way before almost spilling the beans about what happened before she got dropped off here. So, to ease the conversation, he just slid it away and started up a new topic.

This went on for the whole week of her recovery. It took so long because of her refusals for everything they tried to give her. Though, I'm sure they were all greatful that it wasn't any longer and that she looks much better than she had before.

"It's okay...I get it..you don't have to explain." Gotex reassures her and gently pats her head. "Do you..uh..at least have a name?"

"Itami.." She said with a slight smile, after pushing his hand away from her head, which made him lightly chuckle.

"Itami...nice to meet you, Itami, I'm gotex!" He says as his tail wiggles and he gives a nice smile.

"Nice to meet you too.." She gives a nod, then gets up. "You said there was a boy who saved me...right?"

"Mhm! His name is trunks! Would you like to meet him?!" Gotex exclaimed.

"I would, to say thank you...if that wouldn't be of issue?" She said, in more of a question, just to be sure.

"Of course not!! Let's goooo!" His tail wiggles as he takes itami's hand and flies off, practically dragging her, toward the location where he last saw trunks not long ago.

When they both got to where trunks was, Itami thanked him and offered him a reward. Of course trunks didn't take the offer, for he felt there need not be a reward because it was no problem for him to save her like he did. Later, after they all hung out, Itami decided to stay and took trunks' offer in staying with him and his family. Which, eventually, lead to them both becoming more and more like brother and sister...and of course, gotex, was her new bestfriend.

She came to like it here, with mostly the two of them. As they enjoyed her being there as well. Though she stayed on the quiet side. Never telling them much about the past or any of her feelings for that matter. Her and gotex hung out everyday. She had a nice little adoptive family, lots of other caring people around her...and years full of funny and amazing moments yet to come!
