There he was. Perfect. Black hair, eyes (one blue one green), tan skin. His name as beautiful as he is. Ryan. I nearly faint when I here his name. Then he starts approaching me. When he gets feet away from my body he grabs my shoulders. "Brooklyn? Brooklyn?!"
he says as he starts shaking me. Suddenly, my eyes open as I see Ally standing above me as I lay sleepily on the couch. "You okay B? You were screaming random things in your sleep," she asks, looking concerned. "Uh.. yeah. I'm fine. Just- "
"Just dreaming about Ryan again?" she interrupted with a smirk. "Shut up," I say as I punch her in the shoulder. "Come on. We gotta get to school before Mr. Cooper has a conniption fit," she said sarcastically as she stood up and smoothed out her red leggings.
"You know, I really need more friends Ally. Look at me. Crushing on the most popular guy in this town yet I'm a nobody. Only you and the teachers know who I am. How am I supposed to survive my Senior year of high school if I can't be recognized by anyone I see in the halls?" I ask as I slip into a navy blue and white stripped tank top, blue denim skinny jeans, and bright blue converse. "I don't know. Let's go we don't wanna be late."
I walk into class with my books in one hand and a late pass in the other, even though I wasn't late. I drop my books down on my desk and slump down in my chair. "Ok class. Today, we are going to talk about blah blah blah blah blah de blah." The teachers' voice trails off as I get lost deep in my thoughts. What would it be like to be popular? To be with Ryan? If only I could experience that. Woah.. why do I feel so dizzy and nauseated all of the sudden? Maybe I'm just dehydrated.. I'll get some water after class. My thoughts just totally went blank and I couldn't think straight. The last thing I remember is just barely hitting the ground and hearing a gasp from the class.
