"DO YOU THINK I WANT THIS?" I screamed at my mom at the kitchen table, " DO YOU THINK I WANT TO HAVE EVERYONE HATE ME?"

She just sat there and stared at me. I wanted to cry but I was too strong and mad. I didn't know what to do so I sat down and put my head on the table.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what to do. My friends all turned on me and nobody likes me. I'm sorry,"" I quietly said.

"There is nothing to be sorry for hun," my mom told me. "I just want you to be happy."

But I wasn't happy. I haven't been happy for over a year now. I want someone to come along and make me happy again. I miss being happy and smiling all the time like when I was a little kid. My parents are in the middle of getting a divorce and I'm failing school.

It all started when my boyfriend started telling everyone I showered with my bathing suit on. Of course it's not true, but everyone believed it. It all got worse though. Then my best friend got killed in a car accident. People said I killed her. I missed her a lot and got really sad.

I had to see the counselor every Monday and Thursday. I thought I had a lot of friends but it turns out they were the ones starting the rumors. I found out I had no friends.

We had a family gathering when my uncle died. During the middle of it I got a phone call. I went to the bathroom and answered. I didn't hear anything but static. Then I heard, "Did she answer?" Then another voice, "Yes! talk!" Then the first voice again, it was a girl, she asked, "I was wondering if you would like to come to a party with me, it's Alexis."

I was shocked, so I stammered, "I, I guess. When and where?"

She replied, "Tomorrow, five o'clock, Hollywood Hotel."

     "Ok, see you there."

The next day I was getting ready for the party and my mom came into my room. She just sat there and didn't say anything. Neither did I so I don't blame her. She was about to leave when I asked why she came in here in the first place. She said because she wanted to in and angry voice. I don't know what had happened but it didn't sound good.

I was on my way when I got another call. All I heard was static and was about to hang up, when I heard someone yell, "Stop! Don't go to that party tonight." I didn't know what to do so I said, "Why?" They told me it was a scam and to go home.
