A/N:
-There is no "dark Betty";
-I know the town of Riverdale doesn't have an exact location on the show, but here I located it in the state of New York, up north in proximity to Canada;
-This story takes place in Betty and Peter's senior year of high school (they are both 17);
- May doesn't know Peter is Spider-Man;
-I started writing this in November 2017, finished in 2018, edited in 2020, and the last edit was made in 2021. The story has changed a lot and some comments attached to certain chapters won't make any sense because the order of the events has been switched. This can be particularly annoying if you like to read the comments so I apologize;
- When I say the story has changed I mean it has completely been flipped upside down. My previous attempts at the mystery/action parts were awful and some parts were so bad I had to cut them out. The mystery revolves around Peter only now;
