I went home to see my mum for a few days. I say a few days... I mean until she dies. The boys think I'm coming back in two days but I don't know how long she will live for. I got home and me and my mum was having a girly chat." So how are you and Rye?" " were good, apart from everything that's happened lately, we're good" I replied looking at the floor. " Ellie I'm so sorry about the baby! I wish everything was back to normal! I'm so sorry I won't be able to see my grandchild grow up. I'm so sorry that I'm going soon and that you won't see me again. I'm sorry. I love you ellie" my Mum said with tears down her face. At this point I was crying. " I love you Mum, there's no need to be sorry. You've made me proud and your so strong I wouldn't of wished for a better mother than you. Thankyou for everything you've done for me my entire life. You've helped me in so many different ways I can't explain. Thankyou" I said I hugged her and we went to bed but before I went in my room my mum hugged me and whispered something in my ear and I went to my room and my mum in hers. Not knowing what tomorrow would bring.
• Next morning•
I decided to let my mum have a lie in today because she's been worn out lately. It was currently 12:37pm and I was getting quite worried. I started walking towards the stairs and my phone started ringing. " hey babe you ok? Where are you?" Rye said " yes I'm fine I'm at home, with my Mum. Come down and say hi if you want. But only you, too many people if you all come" I said and with that we said our goodbyes and he was on his way.
I carried on walking up the stairs and I saw her lifeless body on the bed. I couldn't move. I looked at her she looked so peaceful. Tears strolled down my eyes, my breathing started to get heavier and I fell the the ground. I finally had the courage to go up to her and hold her hand." Mum, I know you can't hear me and I know you can't see me but I'm going to be ok I promise. Mum I will try for another child with rye I promise, I promise I won't leave him like dad left us, I promise I will talk about how amazing you were and think about all the good times. I love you Mum, don't forget that." I felt a hand on my shoulder I just grabbed it and cried.
" she's gone rye" " I know babe but all we can do know is get through this together and I heard what you said. As soon as your better we can try" he said calmly. I stood up and pulled him into a hug and cried into his chest. The body got taken away and I went back to my home with rye.
I didn't want to talk to anyone so I turned my phone off and just sat on the sofa registering what had happened in the past week. " rye, sorry we couldn't go on that date!"
" hey, no worries, we can go whenever you want. But me and the boys have a surprise for you if you want to go now or we can go tomorrow but It will cheer you up I promise!" He said with a little giggle on the end. " I'm really tired tonight rye and I just want to go to sleep and cuddle with you to be honest can we go tomorrow" " of corse babe, there's a little surprise for you waiting on our bed" I looked at him got up and walked towards the bedroom and saw lots of rose petals on the floor with candles lit everywhere and a bunch of roses on the bed with a letter that said.....
