It All Started With A Kiwi

Chapter 1 *revised*

A/N: This is a different version of chapter 1.

Jade's POV

I smiled a little bit as I opened my front door. I was happy to FINALLY be home after a long, stressful day at work.

I really wanted to just go to bed but, I had a 10yr old daughter I had to take care of.

"Mam!" I heard my daughter, Beau, yell.

I heard loud footsteps running towards me before I see Beau. I get on my knees and she wraps her arms tightly around me. I do the same to her.

"Hi BB, how are you?" I ask, using one of my many nicknames for her.

"I'm good Mam. How are you?" She asks as she pulls back her head to look at me.

"I'm good darling." I smiled at her.

"That's great!" She yelled, making me laugh. A normal person would've flinched because she's so loud but, she's been yelling in my ear for 10 years. I've gotten used to it.

"Come on Mam, I have a surprise for you." Beau tells me as she let's go.

"Oooh, I love surprises." I said as I stood up. I took off my heals and my parka.

"Hurry up! You're taking too long!" Beau wines. She grabs my arm and starts pulling me towards the stairs. I laughed and followed her.

We got to my bathroom and that's when Beau stopped me. She turned around and told me to close my eyes. I did and she pulled me into the bathroom.

"Aaand, OPEN THEM!" Beau yells.

I open my eyes and gasp.

There was a lovely bubble bath made, five boxes of biscuits surroning the tub, and then there was a lovely Leigh-Anne Pinnock aka, my best friend/sister.

"I know you've been stressed lately so I asked Auntie LeLe to make you a bath. She's also going to give you a massage and you have TONS of biscuits to eat." Beau said.

I smiled and hugged her.

"You're the best daughter ever." I told Beau.

"Awwww!" I heard Leigh squeal. Me and Beau laughed.

"Alright Mam, get undressed and get in the bath so Auntie Le can give you a massage." Beau said before leaving.

Me and Leigh laughed. She soon left.

I put my hair up before getting undressed and getting into the bath. I grabbed a box of biscuits and started stuffing my face.

"Le!" I called, my mouth still being full. She walked in and laughed at me.

"You better be careful. You might drop some of the biscuits in there." She told me, motioning to the bath.

I swallowed my biscuits and replied with, "I'd still eat it."

Leigh laughed once again before she sat down and started giving me a massage. I also told her about all my troubles at work and she gave me advice.

A/N: Hey guys! So this is a different version of the original Chapter 1. I just wasn't really happy with the first one so I write this one. I'm still going to keep the original chapter up though.

Also, I don't know Beau's age or her personality.

My day has been good so far. It's still morning and it's Sunday.

Wait......shit. Tomorrow is Monday. Welp, time to take that ice cold drink of bleach because, humph.
