"Tell me again why I have to buy this crap for people that I barely even talk too," Jonathan said as he carried a basket filled with shit he didn't even know.

"Because Jonathan it's the thought that counts," Luke said placing what seemed like a watch in the basket.

Jonathan just grumbled to himself as they continued to walk through the store. Ever since Jonathan moved out on his own Luke made it his job to shop for Jonathan. Of course Jonathan always thanked him in the end for helping but he always hated to go Christmas shopping.

"Alright after this we'll go see Santa to see if your elf is there," Luke teased making Jonathan glare at him.

"Fuck that guy," Jonathan said.

"I would if I could," a voice said making Jonathan groan from annoyance.

His glare went towards the elf who was dressed similarly as yesterday. The elf still had that cocky smile on his face. What Jonathan would do to just get rid of that ridiculous smile.

"We never did get a name," Luke said smiling widely at how angry Jonathan was.

"I'm elf Evan at your service," Evan said pointing towards the name tag on his elf suit.

"Are you on your break," Luke asked and he nods his head.

"Good you can take care of Jonathan for me while I get something really quick," Luke said not letting Jonathan protest.

"Hey Jonathan," Evan said and Jonathan raised his eyebrow at him.

"What do you want Elvan," Jonathan said.

"My name's Evan," Evan replied and Jonathan shrugged his shoulders.

"You are Elf Evan so I'm calling you Elvan deal with it," Jonathan said making Evan laugh.

"You are strange Jonathan," Evan said and Jonathan rolled his eyes.

"I just say it how I see it," Jonathan said.

"Why do you hate Christmas so much," Evan asked.

"I don't have to explain myself to you," Jonathan said glaring at the smiling elf.

"You don't but can't help curiosity especially since this is the most loved holiday," Evan said.

"Whatever," Jonathan said hoping that Evan would get the hint and fuck off.

"Maybe you need someone to show you why Christmas is special," Evan said excitedly already forming plans in his head.

Jonathan wanted to shiver in disgust. Spending more time with the excited elf just made Jonathan want to throw up. He opened his mouth to say something but..

"That sounds like a wonderful idea and you can help him with his Christmas shopping as well," Luke said when he came back to them.

"Great I don't have work tomorrow and I'll go pick him up just give me the address and I'll have him loving Christmas by the 24th," Evan said and Luke quickly wrote it down and gave it to him.

"Well I gotta go see you tomorrow Jonathan," Evan said quickly running off.

"What the fuck did you just do," Jonathan hissed making Luke chuckle.

"You'll thank me later," Luke said as he walked away from Jonathan.

Sometimes Jonathan wondered why him and Luke are even friends. Shaking the thought he followed Luke knowing that he wouldn't change him for the world.

Day 3 will be up shortly. I just needed to post the first 2 since I didn't get this idea until yesterday
