A cloth fell over Aki's mouth, her screams unheard. The room she was in started to become unclear. A voice appeared out of the blurriness, "Now no one can have you". That was all she heard, before everything faded to black.
12 hours earlier
Aki sat in a small cafe in the middle of town with her best friend. She listened as her best friend Jin talked about everything that had happened to him today. As she listened she couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone staring at her. The pink haired male then pulled her from her thoughts, "Aki, Aki! Are you even listening to me?" he whined waving his hand infront of her face. "Yes, yes. I'm listening, now go on." she replied pushing a strand of faded light blue hair out of her face, and taking a sip of her lukewarm coffee.
"Anyway, I'm gonna get another coffee, be right back." he said as he walked off. Aki nodded in response to what the boy had said. When the boy came back they talked for a little longer. Aki downed her now cold coffee and said "See you tomorrow!" as she walked out of the cafe into the cold weather. She made her way to her home, still feeling that someone was watching her.
She was all too familiar with this feeling of being watched, it had been going on for weeks now. She hadden't told anyone about it, not wanting to bother anyone about this. With this thought in mind, she quickened her pace in order to get home faster. In a matter of minutes, she was inside her house. She closed her large, black door and bolted it shut.
She looked at the clock and thought: 6 pm already?, she hadn't realized how much time she had spent with her best friend. Her stomach brought her out of her thoughts, she walked to the refrigerator to look for something to eat. When she looked in the refrigerator there was nothing to be found. She remembered that the last time that Jin hung out at her apartment they ate all the food. She grabbed her wallet and phone and walked down the large staircase of creaky steps.
When she reached the end of the staircase she made her way outside into the cool fall air and walked to the nearest convenient store. As she reached the store the feeling of her being watched came back. She walked into the store not wasting time to look for her items. She grabbed a cup of noodle from the shelf and an ice tea from the fridge, then hastily made her way to the counter where a man rang up her things and she paid for them. She pushed the clear door open and started to walk back to her old apartment building.
A few minutes later she was climbing up the creaky staircase to get to her apartment. She stood in front of her door fumbling with her key to get it open, after a few seconds she was able to open the door and make her way inside. She closed and bolted shut the door and made her way to the kitchen. Aki placed the items on the counter and bent down to grab a pan.
As she stood back up a cloth fell over her mouth, her screams unheard. The room she was in started to become unclear. A voice appeared out of the blurriness, "Now no one can have you". That was all she heard, before everything faded to black.
She woke up a few hours later in a unfamiliar room tied to a chair. She slowly turned her head in the dimly lit room to see if she recognized where she was, which was nearly impossible. As she turned her head to a door it opened, revealing a very pale boy with dark purple hair and a maroon beanie. She recognized him, he went to her school. What was his name?, Zane?, no; Zelda?, no that's a video game character. Finally she remembered, it was Zero... at that very moment her stomach filled with dread. Now she was wishing that someone would come and rescue her.
