January 1

Dear Diary,

I apologize for missing so many days of writing. I need to get in the habit again...

This is also a new diary  in which I wish to write in at least 3 times a week for the entirety of the year.

It snowed again today. On the first day if the new year. But the sun was out. It was quite enjoyable sitting inside, snuggling under a blanket with some hot cocoa.

Mmm.....

I missed another show at the public theatre the other day. Sadly. It was one of my favorites too.

Maybe next time.

I wrote a poem today about the snow.

Light, soft, sparkles
Falling from a bright, blue sky
Cold on your tongue, melting on your face
The day seems dreery, but the snow makes it bright
Warmth inside makes the cold seem greater
And nothing is better than those pretty little sparkles
Falling from the sky

Sweet enough. Maybe someday I'll get to that book of poetry I've been hoping to try writing.

Anyway, school will start again in a few days. I think I might die.

I'd rather just sit at home in my comfy sweater and read Romeo and Juliet again- for maybe the hundredth time.

Even though I can't really relate to it...

Maybe in some ways I can...

I'm wandering again. I just can't help it. It happens sometimes, especially when there are other things on my mind.

I should probably go. I made some cookies, and they should be done by now.

January 3

Today I went back to school after having off for so long.

It was back to a normal schedule, but the school announced today that there would be a drama club! At this moment, I'm actually listening to another announcement. The meeting should be Friday!

I'm hoping we will be able to do classics, and that the club isn't just acting.

I'm hoping that other talents, such as poetry and directing can be shown, though I'm not much of a director.

Anyways, I need to get home so that I can work on my French. Homework already!!

January 5 - First Drama Club Meeting!

Today was the first Drama Club meeting after school! It was wonderful.

Just as I'd hoped, we're doing other things besides acting and stage managing!

Everyone will be able to share their skills in script writing and poetry and directing, and other things! We'll even be taking trips to see the local theatre plays, and this month, they're continuing to show my favorite.

I'd let you know what that was, Diary, but you'll find out soon enough.

One of the other club members for this new club is in the production. I can't wait to see her in it!
