Epilogue

I sigh as i slipped down the crown from my hair, pulling down my hair so that it will hang freely. Slowly,I glanced to the figure that is sitting on the bed with his feet dangling down.His eyes were searching through mine.

"Do you...think i could do this?"

"What makes you think you couldn't?"

He answered my question with another question.
"I dunno, i'm bad afterall"

Suddenly, my body was turned lightly to face Jungkook, he look into me with such worry plastered across his face.

"Wanna know something?"

"What?"

"Do you remember the night that we shared the same bed?"

"Which one?"I laugh, it was true that we shared bed more than once before.

"Umm,the one that you invited me"

I nod,still not getting his point.

"That night,actually i didn't take away your blanket, but you were mumbling in your sleep. It,was about your parents,you should see your state at that time, it was so heartbreaking. So i hug you to calm you down,and it worked. But when you were sleeping so comfortable in my arms, i feel like i should stay like that, and i end up sleeping in that position.
But it's not just that night. There are more times that i barely can contain myself from hugging you, kissing you,touching you. It's turning me insane"

He lean his forhead onto mine,closing his eyes along.

"Honestly, when i saw you sitting at the balcony chatting so happily to Taehyung and the smile you have when you're laughing at his words, i guess my heart can't take that. I was asking myself constantly, why can't i make you smile like that? I tried to confront you that night, but i guess my desire toward you controlled me and I end up making it worse. And also,when i realise you broke into my dream just to know what i remember,that makes me more heartbroken as i realise you didn't trust me anymore. At that time, i already recalled my memory, of who i am. I was planning on telling you, but your act make me feel like shattering, so instead i pushed you away, thinking that i can't make you smile nor trust me. It hurt,it hurt so much watching you getting sad and i can't be there to comfort you, because I was the reason you had been sad all along.
The time when i said that we were never friend, is that actually, i realise my feelings for you had been growing bigger. I was in a mess without you, i swear. But...but on the rooftop,that day, i finally realise that all i want afterall...was you"

He opened up his eyes and a single tear drop down from his eye,rolling down smoothly. He caress my cheek and i realise that he had wiped my tears.

"Don't cry,please. I'm sorry,i'm so sorry."

"Jungkook,i...I love you"
I chocked at my own words as i tried my best not to whimper.

He seem suprised, but soon he lean in and kiss me, our lips moved in sync. His kiss,his touch, now had become so sweet to me and i begin to cry even more. We pull away,and the first sentence he said is, "I love you too,Y/n"

"Aww,look at you two being all lovey and dovey"

A sudden new voice makes us flinch and Jungkook hid me behind him as he pulls out his sword,aiming at the new intruder.

"Whoa whoa. Calm down, geez...is this how you two repay me?" He pull off his hoodie, clearly annoyed, "You two are in this spot, having a sweet time because of me."

"Oh,you. The pink haired guy" I walk to Jungkook's side as I realise he is not a threat.

The man sigh and shake his head, " Call me Jimin...i guess that's better than pink haired guy."

"What do you mean,by 'thanks to you' ?"
Jungkook said as he laced his arm around my waist.

"Remember this?" he hold out an empty picture frame,it's the one that i got during that Jade Moon Party, and also the one that Jungkook got before he was sucked into it. I'm suprised that it's in a good state.

"It was a gateway to both of your fate."

"But...don't you grant wishes?"

"What did you wish for then?"

"Someone who cares about me" Jungkook and i both said on sync,and we both glanced at each other after.

"There,you got yours"

"How? I was supposed to be 39 this year, 18 years older than her. How do you know that we will wish the same thing?"

"Don't you realise something? When you were both wishing, there was something else that you want, but instead, you ask for someone who cares about you, your soulmate. And that's all happen because of..."

"Fate..."I whisper, earning a nod from Jimin. "So...we were both destined to meet, and fall in love"

"And rule EverHill. I, as the Bliss Star helped people to reach their fate, not grant wishes. You guys got the myth wrong"

Both Jungkook and i nod, interwining our hands together.
" Oops,i gotta go, and happy marriage, your Higness."

He bow and walk away through the walls,disappearing right after. I turned to look at Jungkook and nuzzle into his chest,inhaling his scent that i could never got bored of. But he pulled me away from him, making me stare into his brown eyes.

"Y/n,tell me...aren't you...aren't you mad that i was from the Black badge? That my mother, my mother had...your sister" he couldn't finish his sentence ,so i kiss him on his lips, lingering for a few minutes before pulling away.

"What is a Black badge? Never heard of those."

"Y/n, please..."

I put my index finger onto his lips,shutting him out.
"Shh, i'm tired,i wanna sleep. Can we sleep?"

He stare into me for a few minutes before sighing and nod. I pull him onto the bed and pull the mattres up onto us. I look at him and caress his cheek.

"Let this,remind you, that I, won't ever stop loving you even if there's bad history behind us or things like that happen in the future. I will love you forever. Arasso?"

He smirked and pull me closer to him,nodding in response.
"Good night my queen"

I cuddle to him closer. Yes,this is what i had been wanting from the start,a good life,building my own happiness and ruling my own kingdom. In the future, maybe it's still far away, but when we have a family, when we have our own children, I will tell them about us, about our story. I'll keep telling them until they get bored hearing it. The story of the Living Photograph.
