Under The Mask

First Day

Look I'm just an ordinary guy or at least I used to be. Let's go to where it all began.

Miami, Florida

9:00 AM

Miami Beach High School.

The bell just rang. I was in class just on time. "Good Morning Kids, My name is Mr. King." said the older looking tan-skinned man. Mr.King kept talking I dozed off and started looking around. To the left of me was a girl her skin was pale and gentle her hair blonde and eyes hazel, she was looking out of the window. She looks amazing but with my looks, I got no chances. You see I am a tannish kid 6'2 black short hair, gold eyes and I look average I am not a sexy devil but I sure ain't ugly. "Hey," I say. She turned around. 

"What?"

"The name's Lukas"

"Kayla"

"Nice to meet you, what's your nex-" I was interrupted by Mr. King "Mr. Kasan," he says. "would you like to share with the class."

I reply sarcastically."Uh.. you see sir I was explaining to her what the derivative of twelve was I am trying to get a jump start on learning." The class laughs exploding with laughter.

5th Avenue North

3:00

I'm headed home and I'm crossing the busy street the sign says walk so I go when I cross I hear a loud horn honking I turn my head "Holy Shi-" Then all I see is black.

Miami Beach Hospital

Two Days Later

11:00

My eye flutter open. The light floods my eyes making it hard to see. "Hello," I said weakly "Hello, Where am I?" My parents look at me."Honey are you okay?" my mom says "Ugh... Yeah, Mom, I'm fine for the most part" How am I not in severe pain? "Mom, what happened?" I ask. "The doctor gave you an injection to save you from being paralyzed it has a health benefit as well they may be side effects if you around radiation but nothing major" she replies. "Thanks, Mom."
