December 10, 22:30, Seoul.
Her phone showed the exact time and area she was standing. The night cold breeze that tickling her face leading her feet to move a little bit faster after Chaekyung got her medicine from the pharmacy. She felt her warm breath underneath the mask she was wearing with the soft sighs left her lips.
'What a perfect way to celebrate...'
The night illumination still glimmering surround her with the cheerful Christmas carols played here and there. Everybody were busy preparing the coming event with their family and friends, while she herself still needed to prepare their next comeback right after coming back from their second Japan concert.
The overwhelming atmosphere made her wonder if she could live a normal life like friends on her age. Christmas party, New Years party or maybe just a simple celebration with your love one, just as simple as it would be great. But she was aware of it since the first day she decided to join the industry she was going to explore seven years ago.
Her tired eyes were suddenly attracted to the small glimmering cake shop located at the end of the road. The display shown through the glass window reminded her of some special day of her special one which was happened that day.
'How's your day today, mister?'
Chaekyung was fixing her eyes on the mini strawberry cake they put on the display, smile still hung on her lips with her own question inside her head.
"This one is quite nice and delicious," Her thought was interrupted by the voice of the cake shop owner. "Is it for celebration?"
The owner could clearly see the soft smile hidden behind those dark mask through her eyes. Chaekyung nodded her head lightly before back on the small cake she was looking at. "Nae.."
"Oh it's must be your boyfriend then."
Chaekyung was flustered a bit with the unintentional mention of her boyfriend. She pulled up her mask to hide her slight of uneasiness, in fact she's still a public figure and he has been the hottest issue from the last few months, just a bit carelessness something coming would be beyond her imagination.
But her eyes betrayed her mind with those slight longing feeling escaped from those beautiful brown pair of hers. She's been missing him too much...
"I sincerely recommend this for you." Said the owner. "I'm sure you will like the sweetness from our fresh strawberry. It's been our most popular cake since the first time we made it."
She nodded. "One for me, please." The owner packed it for her immediately.
Chaekyung grabbed her purse and waiting for her turn to pay. Few young worker got her attention when she was waiting for the change they're going to give her, they were giggling in their own in a low voice.
"Today is Kang Daniel birthday!"
But their voice were not low enough to escape from her ears, making her lips twitching up a little bit with the mention of his name.
"Thank you." Chaekyung bowed a bit before taking her beautifully wrapped cake in her hand.
The night breeze started to slip through her hand that carrying the strawberry cake she just bought, but it didn't stop her mood to enjoy the night of Seoul with the new feeling that lingering on her mind.
Thanks to the view came from those beautiful birthday ad she saw on the way back to their company. Her step was halted in front of one of those ad as his sweet smiling face caught into her eyes among the people that kept coming back and fort in front of her, enjoying his beautiful look that had been invading the city of Seoul for the past few day.
