Stephanie was having a great day. That is, until she woke up. "Stupid alarm clock... Wish I could keep dreaming forever," she muttered, rubbing her eyes. She made her way down her bunk bed, trying to figure out what day it was. She was careful not to step on her sister, and headed towards the bathroom. (A/N Steph, I dunno your morning ritual so I'm just gonna... write morning stuff for you to do :P) As she piled toothpaste onto her toothbrush, she tried to remember her dream. She vaguely remembered something about a locker door, bananas, and an argument. She furrowed her eyebrows.
It was a Friday, wasn't it? She now remembered the argument part of it. She had been arguing about who would be writing in the notebook. Steph recalled someone snapping at Julian- oh, yeah, the lunatic (the absolutely sweet, smart, lunatic) was in it- because Steph's arm was in a cast and according to "mr. wowz" (A/N last year's blogs. there was something about it and Steph called him mr. wowz), she should write in the notebook. It was just getting good when Alexis and Josh came pelting full speed towards their lockers from math. Erin (the one yelling at Julian) gave him one last glare, then huffed and turned towards Josh. They started discussing the lesson and Steph heard a few fragments of their conversation- radioactive, bananas (so that's where bananas came in), problem solving, lunch-before she sighed and woke up.
Turning off the tap, she exited the bathroom and went looking for her uniform.
An hour or so later, she was at her locker chatting with her friends, keeping an eye out for Julian (as always), and exhaled, relieved, as he entered the hallway. Mrs. Auty came into view, and Hiver (poor Hiver's in 6G7) had to go to facegroup.
They filed into the classroom, the boys slamming their things down on the desks. The girls followed, taking their time. Steph, Cher, and Erin were talking as they went in, but Steph did a quick scan of the whole classroom. Her eye fell on the boxes and bags of books. She set her things down and raced towards them. The books were for the book drive that the middle school was doing, and Steph could tell they had at least three hundred. She turned around- to find that Cher and Erin were right behind her. She shrieked, and they laughed. "Meanies! You guys scared the heck outta me!" "The Hades? We were just standing behind you!" Erin and Cher laughed. Erin beckoned to Claudia, and she came over. "Ohmigosh, let's ask Mrs. Auty if we can count them today!" Claudia exclaimed. The other three brightened and nodded. Mrs. Auty smiled when she heard Claudia's idea, and that was how half the facegroup time was spent counting books. It turned out that they had 350 books, which was (as Mrs. Auty put it) "sure to put us in first place". The boys were at the whiteboard, writing down numbers (A/N gasp?! They were writing numbers?!? Yeah. I guess they have to be smart SOME times.) which they realized were the books. They went over to check the addition and confirmed that there were 350 books. Steph high-fived Cher and Erin, and they heard Mrs. Auty say that this would make them first place in the facegroup competition as well. Everyone cheered, grinning like crazy, and even after the bell rang, signaling the end of facegroup, they still were smiling and laughing. The other facegroups came rushing into the hallway, and Steph, Cher, and Erin saw Raidan talking as they carried their stuff to their locker. Grinning, Cher turned around to get her science stuff and failed to notice that Kasen, Aidan, and James were behind her, having just walked into the hallway. Aidan "tripped" over a textbook, "accidentally" pushing James towards Cherise. Unfortunately, James didn't stumble into Cherise (cuz that was what Aidan wanted to do cuz he "ships" Jarise DON'T KILL ME CHER), instead, he just lurched forwards a few steps. "Oops. Sorry James." Aidan apologized, grinning at Rhonda. Steph and Erin had seen the whole thing and smirked, trying their best to hide it.
Cher and Hiver had finished getting their stuff, and they went to find Aria so they could go to Science together. They searched for her, until they saw her at the 6G3 lockers, holding a book (typical) and talking to Henry (IM SORRY ARIA not really I HAD TO PUT IT IN THERE CUZ THEY ASKED FOR IT). She was talking about it, apparently, and gave it to him when she saw Cher and Hiver waiting (not very quietly). Steph and Erin could hear them as they walked up to the fourth floor with Claudia, Tim, and Josh.
