Kimberly ❤️

I sat in a suite, watching the Cowboys play the Eagles. Right now, they were getting killed. I wanted to laugh, but I know how much this means to Dak. So I was respectful. Plus Zeke was in the suite as well, so I just knew I had to be respectful.

He held Rachel in his arms as she slept. Monica sat with Cameron on her lap, entertaining my daughter while I watched her father get his ass whooped on the field.

Dak called time right after getting sacked. I turned away, walking over to the table with the food and snacks. I grabbed a brownie, biting into it.

Monica walked over to me, her hands buried in her pocket.

"Yes ma'am?" I say.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Pretty good. Why?" I say.

"You don't look too confident in that answer." She said.

"I don't know. You tell me. Would you be okay if you knew Zeke were cheating, while married to you?" I say.

She shook her head.

"Exactly. So you could only imagine how I feel right now." I say.

"Kim, you have to look past that though." She said.

"I can't. The longer I stay with him, the more a piece of me dies." I say.

"Because you love him so much." She said.

"Yes. But I just can't keep fighting this anymore. I give up." I say.

She sighs. Upon hearing the whistle blow several times, we immediately turned our attention back to the game.

"Penalty." Zeke said.

"On who?" I ask.

"Intentional grounding, #4 offense." The ref said.

"Does that answer your question?" Zeke asked.

I nod, shrugging afterward.

Oh well.

I made my way toward the Cowboys locker room, ready to console my husband after that hard loss they just took. A 43-7 win by the Eagles left the Cowboys looking quite unconfident.

I held Cameron on my left hip as she peacefully slept. She fell asleep literally 5 minutes ago. But she's a very heavy sleeper, which is quite cool. I kiss her cheek, turning back to the way ahead of me.

Upon reaching the locker room, I saw Dak standing outside. He wasn't alone though, he was talking to a woman. I stopped myself from walking. I just stood there, waiting for him to notice me.

Now I wish I really hadn't stood there waiting, because what he did next tore me to shreds. That's when I knew it was time to let go.

"I love you." He mumbled to her.

"I love you too." She replied, smiling up at him.

"This must be Denise." I say, gaining both of their attention.

Dak's eyes widen and Denise just smirks.
