It was a warm July night, and you were sitting at the edge of the public pool with your two best friends. You let out a sigh as you watch the sun go down.
"What a beautiful night," said your best friend Jenna ,"I can't wait until the end of Summer party at Sophie's next weekend!"
"Yeah!" said your other best friend Kierstyn, "Her parties are the best!"
You tried to muster a smile, you were excited, but something felt odd and out of place, but you didn't know what...
A cool wind blew through your hair and whipped it around your face. You fumbled with it for a while, trying to push it behind your ears when you noticed a dark figure standing on the other side of the pool gate. You got goosebumps up your arms and legs. You just stared at it for a while. It seemed to be staring back..
"____?" said Jenna poking your arm, " are you okay? You look kinda... pale."
"Yeah, I'm fine," you say with a hint of a smile, " we better go though, it's getting kind of late."  You pulled yourself up onto your feet and pushed on your brand new flip-flops. You smiled down at the gift from your Mom. It felt reassuring, and warm.
"Okay, let's go." said Kierstyn as she picked up her orange pool towel , and smiled confidently.
You started walking for the exit, but looked at where you last saw the strange figure. Nothing. There was nothing there, and there probably never was, but that didn't ease the feeling in your stomach.
You, Kierstyn, and Jenna walked out of the pool and wait for your ride at the edge of the curb. There was Jenna's mom, coming around the corner in the Suburban.
You get in and sit next to Kierstyn as Jenna slides into the front passenger seat.
"How was the pool girls?" chimed Jenna's mom.
"Pretty good," said Kierstyn and Jenna, "Except for the fact that Chris tried to prank the head lifeguard the entire time and blamed it on ____." said Kierstyn.
You weren't really paying attention, because you saw that shadowy figure again just yards away this time, slowly walking on the sidewalk. It seemed the person was relaxed as they sauntered along. You rode right past it, the person didn't look up from his white and (red?) hoodie. Something in the figure's pocket caught your eye. It reflected in the moonlight... what was it? Ipod, it was an Ipod, you tried to convince yourself as you turned and faced forward.
"Bye!" waved Kierstyn and Jenna as you were dropped off at your house. You waved back and smiled. Nothing was wrong, you were just having an off day, that's all.

~Time Change~

The alarm clock on your nightstand said 11:34. "Come on!" you thought, "can't I just fall asleep!" After all, a 17 year old girl needs her sleep.
Finally, you could feel your body just melt away, and you were almost asleep...

The last thing you saw before you fell asleep was a beautifully scary pair of dull blue eyes, and a mess of raven hair with a white hoodie standing over you. A cool wind blew around you. Your window. He came in through the window.

He was holding a blade, and had a much to large smile that dripped blood occasionally. You weren't scared, more curious and intrigued. There was something about this tall, skinny figure that you found...*cough* "attractive".
"Go to sleep." said the figure in a young male's voice. And you didn't argue.
