"Eudice, are you sure about this?" The old man asked. His dull blue eyes twinkled with hope, as if they were asking his old friend to abandon the ritual. Eudice looked at him with his dark grey eyes. "Alasdair, my friend, do you think I would ever conduct a ritual without being 100 percent sure, without knowing the consequences and without believing in myself and others that the ritual will work?" Eudice asked, giving a reassuring small smile to his friend. "Don't worry, I know you'll do just fine, remember after I disappear I want you to begin with the ritual immediately, there must be no time to waste, the children must be given their powers as soon as possible".

"Of course, let's begin" Eudice nodded and swayed his hands around the cauldron slowly. A bright purple mist started to form, swirling around the cauldron and the water inside it started to boil. "The Mandrake root, Alasdair". "Of course" Alasdair picked up the glass jar from the glass table beside him and handed it to Eudice. Eudice put a little pinch of it into the water with a weird looking black and blue flower and a dark red rose.

"Este meyt mehote yora, liotte makera oyete limana, kira oree taka mota, fie olee icapa!" Suddenly, the mist turned black and ran fast around the cauldron. Eudice's white robes started to blow fiercely due to the intense energy. His long black beard and hair also blew in the energy. He started to levitate off the ground and was being surrounded by the black mist.

Alasdair backed away cautiously as Eudice chanted loudly as the black mist swirled around him faster and faster. He turned to his old friend and smiled widely. "Goodbye, Alasdair, it was a pleasure working with you" Alasdair nodded. "It was a pleasure working with you too, goodbye Eudice". Eudice nodded and vanished into thin air.

A small tear ran down Alasdair's cheek but quickly ran to his potion ingredient cabinet, knowing that there is no time to waste. Grabbing out six vials of blood, six wooden keys, six pinches of mandrake root, an emerald gem, white vinegar, fresh soil, a vial of dark red blood and a raven's head. He ran back to the cauldron and put everything in. He then put his hands together and started chanting loudly: "Membre ertee liboom omato!" He released his hands and a small fireball formed, lighting up the room. He slowly put it into the water and then chanted loudly again: "Goorde urma ecola lemoni akoora!".

A bright light formed in the middle of the cauldron making him fall back and cover his eyes. Smoke surrounded the cauldron as the ingredients mixed together by themselves. He slowly stood back up seeing a bright yellow mist come out of the cauldron, showing six infants. He sighed in relief. He had completed the ritual and the infants had their powers.

He laughed cheerfully. "Meste broombaheh" He muttered. The mist shooted back into the cauldron and the ingredients stopped mixing around.

"I have finished my business here, I now close the circle of the six keys of Edwadox".
