| chapter two: unexpected change of plans|| Taehyung ||
Before being that idol everybody fangirls, it is a known fact during my high school days that Kim Taehyung, the guy who always wore his glasses and looked like a total weirdo, is the last person to become an idol. I won't deny it though because truly, even I didn't believe I was going to become one. Compared to the famous and stunning classmates (or schoolmates) I had, it is surely obvious that my ordinary and not-so-rich self was not going to level with their popularity. Until an unexpected day came when my best friend—who belonged to the famous circle—wanted to bring me along to his audition at BigHit entertainment in hopes of becoming an idol. I was reluctant at first because what if seeing me with him could make him lose? Or maybe, what if everybody who would audition the same day as him would laugh at him for bringing along an unsignificant, weird guy? These thoughts are what occupied my mind most of the time when I was with him.
However, life does really have its own way of turning the damn tables so quickly because accepting my best friend's offer and going to the audition led me to being the person I am right now. The only Kim Taehyung Bangtan Sonyeondan has ever had.
Now, as an idol who never got the chance to experience what it is like to live in the world of the famous, where paparazzis who lingered all over you every time that even going to the restroom is news-worthy and hot tea for them, I sure am still not used to it. How can people follow you around like you're some kind of master who needs to be photographed all the time in order for them to live? Well, what can I say? That's exactly the reason why they do that. Take pictures of the famous and earn tons of money from it. I get it. Totally.
But, the thing is,
We're not THAT famous.
So, how the freaking hell are those photos of me and the girl at the airport circulate in the internet so much faster than having our latest music video reach at least, 50 million views? And adding to that, the photos and articles are even entitled as, "Kim Taehyung of BTS, planning to leave the industry and pursue being a porn star?"
Shut up, you insolent, annoying and irritating—
"Taehyung, are you listening?" PD-nim asked, making the room disturbingly silent.
"Huh?" I looked at the members, clueless of what was happening.
PD-nim sighed and rubbed the top of his nose for like the thousandth time already. He gave me one last look and furrowed his eyebrows as he spoke, "You do know what ruccus you caused, Taehyung, right?"
