Chapter 14: The Next Day; at the cafe

Saturday

Anna's POV:

It's Sarurday. Ethan and Yu invited me to come with them and hang out at a nearby cafe. It was newly opened, the place is quite nice. A mixture of modern and antique style blended together. I like how it's not too crowded with the decorations.
We sat down at our table and ordered our food.

"Sorry for inviting you all of a sudden, Anna" Ethan apologises

"It's no problem, I wanted to check this place out anyway" I replied

"Thank you so much for coming with us, Anna!" Yu smiled widely

"Why are you so grateful to me?"

"Well...it would be a hard time for a bunch of boys to come here alone, you know?" Ethan explained

We all look at the menu. Wow! They've had so many delicious looking foods!
I ordered espresso, I didn't want any of the sweets. Ethan ordered black coffee and Yu ordered white coffee.

"Anyway...it's hard for boys to come here alone. But since we have a girl, it's no problem" Ethan continued then both of them glanced at the table besides us.

They were drawn by the two girls who were seated at the table. One looks like an innocent school girl and the other one looks more mature and sexy.

"I call the girl in the left side, the one with the pigtails" Yu smiled as he poke Ethan with his elbow

"I'm more into that girl sitting across the one you're after with, she's more mature and sexy. The one with the long curled hair, she looks hot wearing that red lipstick" Ethan smiled seductively as he points at the girl "She's really got the air of an older women" then he looks at Yu "An older woman has more to teach you, don't you think?" he winks

What the heck is he talking about?! He's disgusting...

I turned to Yu, he lets out a disgust look right after Ethan winked at him

"That sounded so dirty..." Yu sighed as he looks away from Ethan

"I know what I'm saying" he just smiles at both of us

"Did you guys just come here to check out girls?" I asked

"What? Of course no!" Yu looks at me shaking his head

Oh great! I thought that they were just thinking of something dirty towards those girls. I let out a sigh of relief

"We're not gonna get anywhere by just looking" Yu continued all of a sudden

"We gotta talk to them and ask them out" Ethan said

Oh, so this is how boys would do before they start flirting to other women. I wanted to let out a cringed expression but I respected their nature. So I just slightly smile back to them. I glanced again from the two girls and noticed that they were checking out on Ethan and Yu.

I turned to the boys, "Those girls would definitely say yes since both of you are pretty good-looking" I complimented them "I'm sure they'd be happy if you went up and talk to them"

Both of their faces were lightened up of what I said

"Then maybe I'll start with you, Anna" Ethan smiled
