"Uhm...hey, random forest girl. You ok?" Cute-boy was fiddling with his soft light brown hair, which was adorably mussed up. His ears were a little bigger than normal people's, and it looked half-funny, half-adorable. Cute-boy's eyes were the softest shade of melted hazelnut brown. "Hey! Forest girl!"
"Oh! Err, sorry..." I sat up and tried to cover up my face with my hair. My face was so hot, I bet I was worse than sunset red right now. Ugh, I was probably getting all blotchy. "W-what are you doing here?" I clutched my right arm. "You know, out here in the forest...alone."
"I-...I kind of live...in that tree over there." He pointed over at a large, healthy looking pine tree with most of it's lower branches snapped off.
"Oh. Well." inwardly I smacked myself. Was that really all I could say? How could I possibly save the world and stuff if one blink from a guy I barely knew made my heart leap and soar and melt into a little puddle.
"Uh.. Hey, I'd really rather not just call you forest girl. What's your name, stranger?" he leaned, a little awkwardly, against the tree I was now up against, bringing him closer.
Oh god why did he have to be so... So... handsome...? No, not the right word. Cute or gorgeous or hot describes him better. "Name's Silver moon. You can just call me Silv. I-I mean, if you want."
"Okay, Silv." His smile was so bright, so radiant. "Well, my name is Daniel Soutt. You can call me Danny." He winked, and wind blew in his hair. Daniel put out his hand, which I shook gently.
"I- I g-gotta go, D...D...Mr. Soutt. I'm really sorry. I hope I can see you later! ....Danny." I smiled, and let go of his hand, blushing so hard I could feel my face sweating and steaming. Pushing off the ground, I leaped up into a tree, pushed off a branch, leaping from tree to tree until Daniel Soutt, the cutest boy in the world was out of my sight, and embedded forever in my mind.
