But trying so hard to stay tough.
Hiding the pain,
But what do you even gain?
Convincing everyone you're "fine"
When deep down you know that's a lie.
The cuts on your wrist were no mistake,
You are just tired of all the self hate.
Suicidal thoughts running through your mind,
Because happiness is hard to find.
You feel empty inside,
All night you cried.
Feeling like nobody cares,
You don't even want to breath air.
Not being able to talk to anyone,
You just feel completely done.
Depression is not a joke,
You feel surrounded by smoke.
Knowing you need saving,
But your life is already caving.
