Background
Lewis and Rosie Scott were two famous inventors who still invented and made steampunk machinery in the early to late 1900s, by that time they decided to have Mina, they wanted to keep her out of the public eye so they let her go to school but under a surname 'Carter' where they had their friend Clark to act as her father figure. Then one day 3 year old Mina was walking to the warehouse where her parents were working that day with Clark, there they found out her parents died. Her closest relatives took care of her and basically treated her like Harry Potter. At the age of 15 she ran away and lived alone in her old apartment, with Clark checking in on her everyday.
