Her life was a fairytale.
For the exception that it was just so real and so true.
A smile was seen upon her face,
With innocence and youth.
She didn't own a castle,
Wasn't married to a King.
But she knew about love and happiness,
To her she saw the same thing.
But on just one fateful day.
Her happiness was put to an end.
Her love was killed in front of her eyes.
And from that day she was left in the world without a friend.
And it annoyed her in many ways.
To realise she couldn't control her lover's fate.
So because of her anger and because of her rage.
Her innocence was turned into hate.
Her life was a prison cell
It was filled with loneliness and doubt.
So much sadness consumed from within,
And none of it was ever let out.
Being despised of whenever she was mentioned.
Being feared whenever she was seen.
Being known as a Tyrant and a Villain.
But most importantly The Evil Queen.
Because she wanted to be in control for once.
She wanted others to experience her pain.
Seeing her enemies suffer,
Was the only thing keeping her sane.
So she swore to have her revenge.
She vowed to have them disposed.
Yet the ones who showed her kindness and help
Were actually her foes.
And from all this kindness and from all this help,
She was given a feeling so strange
And from that moment on she decided
That her evil ways can change.
Her life is a course filled with obstacles
She tries so hard to achieve something good.
Yet whenever she is close to satisfying her desires,
She fails like no one else could.
Because the road of redemption and forgiveness is hard
And many things could always go wrong.
But challenges become easier
When your hope and your heart is held strong.
So perhaps she'll find her second chance.
Perhaps her smile would stay.
And maybe, just maybe
A new fairytale would come her way.
