Darkness

That was all Godou could see. He tried moving around but his whole body hurt. His vision impared, he tried listening. To what, he does not know, he just wanted to hear something. He frowned there was nothing to hear either. No. There was something. It was faint, and Godou could hardly tell what it was, let alone where it came from. It was Erica! Godous eyes widened, as he looked around. Still unable to see but he was able to locate the sound. He felt around and eventually. He found her.  He grabed her arm and pulled her close, immediatly checking her pulse. It was steady and strong. Godou breathed a sigh of relief, she was ok. Soon he felt sleep tugging at his eyes as it clouded his mind. After wrapping an arm around her he begain to fall asleep. Key word being began. Godou forgot he was a campione, aka; trouble's best friend. He felt the floor disapear from underthem, and wind rush past his ears. His eyes shot open as he began to look around. He saw the sky, clouds, but two other things stole his attention. A large, circular portal, purple in color. The other more important thing was the rapidly approaching ground. Desperately, he called upon his authorities, but to no avail. Their date with the ground all but assured godou pulled Erica in close as a last ditch attenpt to keep her safe. He pulled her in and braced for impact as his body collided with a brick walkway, exploding into a cloud of dust.

Rias's day had started like most others; she was woken up and dressed by Grafia. Then she would play either with her numerous toys scattered in her large room, or by playing pranks on the staff of the Gremory mansion. Maybe if she was lucky Sona would have come over and they would play chess together. Sometimes, when she's particularly bored, she would go into the garden to look at the flowers and maybe take a walk around the estate. This was one of those times. Well, it would be, if not for the giant portal in the sky and the flaming ball spiralling twards the garden. As it made contact it exploded, dirt and debree flying everywere. Wondering what was happening Rias ran to the creaters edge only to be pulled back by Grafia quite hastily. As she looked at the maid shr saw her brother, flying twards the hole at a break-neck pace.  It was then that Rias realized the severity of the situation. As her brother came out of the hole, she saw in his arms were two small children, a male with dark hair, and tanned skin, while he was holding tightly into a bonde with milk white skin. The male was severely injured and was wearing a tatered and cut up shirt, while the girl was like a much more intact uniform, she too was injured with bruses on.her arms, and light cuts on her skin, with singed hair ends. They were in rough shape, making Rias wonder, what caused their injuries.

The two were taken to the infirmary, the girl was set in one of the many beds, while the boy was not. He was in critical condition, after his wounds and such a high fall it was a miracle he wasn't dead yet. This gave Sersechs an idea. He called for Rias, once she came they placed a sheet over his body so as not to traumatize the poor girl. She walked over twards the table that Godou was layed out on. Her brother had instructed her to bring her evil peices, and so she did. She had a decent idea as to what her brother had planned so she had already prepared a pawn piece for the boy. She had placed it on his chest and begun to recite the spell words. "I am Rias Gremory, lonely soul, soul whose wandered from its path, take refuge in this body once more, become my servant and be delighted by your new life." She shouted the spell words she had practiced for what seemed like hours to the heires. Yet it didn't work. The piece just lay on his chest sparking red. Sersechs looks confused, she had preformed the spell correctly, what went wrong. She attempted it again but this time he helped, it went better then the last time. They amost got the base of the pawn peice to absorb into his body. This time using all of his magical power, and this still didn't work. He was nearly ready to give up when Grafia offered her assistance. Together the 3 of them seemed to get it to get it to work, almost. Right before being fully absorbed all 7 of the other pieces flew into his body. Sersechs was in awe of the boy, and he was certain he would prove a crucial role in her sister breaking off her engagement. He smiled as the boys vitals slowly dropped to zero, as he, Grafia, and the other doctors left the room. Leaving Rias alone with her new pawn. She smiled before leaving to her room. "Goodnight" was all she said as she left.
