Officer Wood scrolled through the text messages. He had a searing migraine that had been nipping at his brain all day. Suddenly the door opened behind him; Officer Path walked in, hauling a cart of files. He looked up seeing Officer Wood sitting in the dark office room. His light the only one on." Hello there Mr. Wood, everything okay?" Officer Wood rubbed his temples, trying to calm his nerves." Yes,yes" he sighed " it's just the case I was assigned, I can't seem to rap my head around it." Officer Path abandoning his cart walked over to Officer Wood. He leaded down, the light shining his face, and casting his shadow." If you could enlighten me, what case we're you assigned again?" Mr. Path looked down at the scattered evidence, and papers laid on Officer Wood's desk." Oh, what would it matter it's a lost cause," he almost shouted, throwing his arms in the air." It's the one, you know about the one collage student killing all her friends."
