~3rd POV of Lloyd&Serpentine~

Pythor and his followers slither through an ancient tunnel, searching for the second Fangblade. They hold up torches to light up the way and see where they are heading. He then stops moving and holds up his hand for them to do the same. Unfortunately, Skales was too busy looking at the map so he ends up bumping into Pythor. Pythor looks extremely displeased by this.

"Why mussst we ssstop when the next Fangblade is jussst ahead of usss?" Skales asks in irritation.

Instead of telling Skales why he stopped, he shows him instead. He slams his staff down, causing the ground before them to crumble away into a deep pit.

"What good is unlocking the Great Devourer with all four Fangblades, if we're not around to see it!?" he goes in front of Skales' face, making him look slightly ashamed. "Get the boy!"

Skales nods his head vigorously, "Bring the boy!"

Just as they were told, the snakes bring in Lloyd. He is in trapped within the grips of the chains around him, but the snakes releases him from them.

"You're letting me go??" asks Lloyd with so much hope. He hopes to see the ninjas again. He hopes to see his uncle again. He hopes to see (Y/N) again.

"Eh-heh, only to fetch, my dear boy," Pythor chuckles, causing Lloyd to become disappointed. "Do step lightly."

Long story short, Lloyd struggled with the traps but made it to the other side unharmed. He was only able to do it with the determination and hope of seeing (Y/N) again, especially since Pythor said he would let him go if he brings the Fangblade back. The only problem is that when he made it there, it's already gone.

"IT'S GONE!!" Lloyd yells, receiving the same words from Pythor except Pythor's was more in shocked and irritation.

"Where isss it?" Skales asks as if someone knows.

"DO I STILL GET TO BE FREED!?" asks Lloyd.

"NO!" Pythor yells back, making Lloyd grunt in displeasure about the false belief.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

Nya and the others talk about the situation with the Serpentine and the Fangblades. I'm not really listening since I'm reading about the Green Ninja before I get to the Purple Ninja. I've only read about the story between the first Spinjitsu master and my father, the Overlord. I was able to read about the snake's legends on the Golden Ninja, too, but only during my 'nightmares'. I really don't think these nightmares are actually dreams anymore because I don't think my brain can make this up.

The snakes were trying to do something to the people in Ninjago about the Golden Ninja, but I wasn't able to read about what they were trying to do. What I do know is that they actually believe that the Golden Ninja is believed to become the Overlord. The Overlord is supposed to be the Golden Ninja. That one's really hard to believe. Why would they think that?

Right now, I'm reading on about the Green Ninja since they're related to the Golden one. It's a little strange, I can't find much on the two's similarities. I might need to find a scroll instead of a book. I'll ask Nya if she knows later.
