In a small town on the outskirts of a much larger city, there was a young man named Fitz Powell. Fitz had the strange ability to speak to the dead. The form of the dead, actually, was in their most suffering form. Ghosts. Which means, during the zombie outbreak he could not strike up a conversation with a “bloodthirsty brain muncher" who was minutes away from tearing apart his body, limb by limb. No, no, instead he spoke with the sad souls who were trapped between worlds in a place many call “Limbo".
When you asked him how he obtained this ability he could not give you an answer. He did not even know. In every conversation he’s had, despite not wanting to talk about his gift, he always says that he was born with it. He says, without doubt. “Whenever I was a baby, I recall my dead grandmother speaking to me as I “spoke" back to her with my mindless baby babble as she rocked my crib in attempts to put me to bed.”

The townsfolk often called him crazy, and spoke about “How devastated his parents must be to give birth to a “bloody loon".” How devastating indeed, as the townsfolk were so ignorant that they had no idea of the truth behind it.

Fitz Powell was not crazy and only one person knew of that. A person that Fitz has despised since the first grade. This person was named Lawrence Dean, an absolute idiot among humans and Fitz’s number one bully. Yet, he was the only one to believe
