KEN'S POV

Here I stand, in the last place that I could think of.

Julia's house.

It was raining and it's the last choice that I had, it's better to try to ask for her help than to spend the night on the street and it was also good because I had to come to her, either way, to tell her about what I did.

I pressed the button to ring her to open the door and after a bit, she answered, "Yes?"

"Um... Julia, it's Ken", I said, unsure.

I think that I heard something like 'what the fuck does this bitch want right now' coming from her but I didn't say anything.

She opened the gate and I walked into the building. It was still cold but it was better than waiting in the rain. I climbed up the stairs to get to her apartment.

I rang the bell and after a couple of moments, I heard some thuds from inside and then the door in front of me was opened and a rush of warm air hit my face.

"Hey!", Julia said cheerfully before looking at me, "um... what are you doing here, Ken?", she asked me now not very happy.

"Well, it's a long story, can you please let me in first, it's freezing", I pleaded.

After a few moments of looking at each other, she gave in and opened her door with a sigh.

I held my bag tightly as I got in, not ready to tell her about what happened.

"I- I am so proud, Ken!", Julia said after I told her everything.

I looked at her and how she was looking at me made me feel happier and better.

But then her face turned into a frown and she asked me, "But what about Brittney? What if she finds out that you have been seeing me?", she started to panic

"If she even comes near you then I'll fucking destroy her", I said with now hateful eyes.

"You really don't have to do anything more than you have done!", she said, happily.

"I am just glad that you chose me! I am really happy!", she said as her eyes started to get tearful.

"Julia,", I said leaning towards her, "I would do anything for you!", I said reaching out to cup her face with my right hand.

"But, why me?", tears started flowing down her face.

I chuckled, "Isn't it obvious? It's because I love you!", I held her face with both hands now pulling her towards me. "You mean everything to me", I said.

"Aw, Ken!", she cried, "I really am glad that you are with me and not her right now", she calmed herself a bit and leaned towards me.

I leaned towards her in return and I stared at her face and thought of every reason that she's beautiful, "You are so pretty, Juls", I said as I lowered my face to hers and kiss her softly.

"I have missed this, I missed you", she said tilting her head to the side and hugging me.

I wrapped my arms around her and breathed in her scent, "I missed you too, darling", I then moved my hands down towards her waist and I started playing with her waistband.

We kissed again but we didn't stop. We were standing in the middle of the living room as we kissed. My hands starting roaming over her body as I made her back towards the sofa.

As we got closer to the sofa, she pulled away from me, "Ken, let's stop"

I ignored her and pulled her towards me and kissed her again, "Ken, I mean it, stop it", she said as she pulled away from me and removing my hands from her waist.

"But, Julia,", I said getting closer to her, "we haven't done anything yet and I haven't seen you since forever", I was now in front of her and playing with her hair, "I missed you, Juls", I went to kiss her again but then got pushed away from Julia, "I said no, Ken, and we need to sleep. It's nearly 10 pm and we have work tomorrow. Don't think that you will be able to skip tomorrow as well", I stood there in shock as she walked out of the room towards her bedroom.

I then chuckled, I love her, then I followed her to the bedroom.
