First Day Of School

           I woke up earlier than usual , due to the fact that I had not slept a wink. I was extremely nervous to go to school and stayed up the entire night waiting in anticipation. The sun had not yet rose, I got up from bed and headed to the washroom to get ready for Hell. I brushed my teeth so hard spots of red could be seen from the gums. I then went over to my closet and pulled out a black plain shirt , with a jean jacket and some skinny jeans. I never wore make up , it just didn't feel right to . I decided on letting my hair out and stroked them with a hairbrush a hundred times. My mom always told me I  was a perfectionist. I grabbed my bag and midnight purple sneakers and ran downstairs.

''Skylar honey , c'mon have breakfast and then you can give your sister a ride to school ''called my mom as I was going outside to see my beautiful car.

Thankfully, The Pain answered before I said anything that would guaranteed get me in trouble  afterwards.''It's okay mom,I was planning to take my own car.Sky can go in hers alone''.She had the nerve to not only call my mom hers , but call me Sky ,who I don't let alot of people call me.Mom left the room to get her keys , while I went to pour myself some milk.Breakfast being the most imporant meal of the day did not exactly imply to me.The Pain then turned to me '' I would not want anyone figuring out you are my sister''. ''You think I like being your sister . your the worst thing that happened to me since figuring out One Direction broke up'' I snapped back . That shut her up.I was a major fan of boy bands.Not the boys but the band part.Girl bands had a major habit of only singing about either their recent break ups or how they are drooling over some guy.Please ladies we can do better.

I went outside and got in my Corvette. I blasted the radio to take my mind off of how simply scared I was for the day . I got out of my corvette and my eyes drifted to them right away.They had pale white skin smooth as marble , their eyes were a light golden brown.A girl with golden hair  was absolutely beautiful.She was wearing a grey sweater with plain black leggings , she looked like she belonged in the front cover of a magazine.Actually they all looked like they came straight from a magazine.Beside her was a muscular man with a huge figure,  talking to him was a pixie looking girl with hair pointing in all direction , clinging to her was another boy her boyfriend I presumed. Then their was him,  he had bronze colored hair and golden eyes and was looking at me in frustration, well at least I think he was looking at me. I was distracted by a boy who was right in front of me , he had blonde hair and a baby looking face.''Hey , your the new girl. I am Mike Newton , your Skylar Parker''. Uh stalker much.''Yeah , I am Skylar''

''What 's your first class, I could show you there'' he asked nervously .I laughed inside ,I was making him awkward. Well I guess I have an admirer.'' Uh government with Jefferson , then GYM , Chemistry and lunch'' I answered. ''Oh , so you have class with me for 1st and 3rd period'' he stated while walking beside me . I took one last glance at the peculiar family , they now had another girl among them who wasn't as pale, she was speaking with the boy who looked at me and who still was. UGH , he was making me uncomfortable. Part of me wanted to go up to him and ask him if he needs mental attention and the other part wanted to go hide away. The more rational side of me , suggested I ask Mike who these people  . ''Mike who are they?'' he looked at me , and then saw where my finger was pointing. ''Those are the Cullen's . Their freaks and don't talk to anyone. Until Bella that brown haired girl came along . Hooked up with Edward there. There all together as in couples''.'' Who is Bella and who is Edward'' I asked innocently. I already knew the one who was staring at me  was Edward.'' Oh, well the one with the weird colored hair, who is currently talking to Bella , who is the girl with brown hair.'' jealousy sprang in his words.It seemed he had a thing for Bella .''The big one Emmett he's with Rosalie , the one with the blonde hair. The little one is Alice she's with the other weird looking dude. They all are Dr.Cullen's and his wife's foster kids. Extremely creepy.''I nodded , I knew exactly what Mike was doing , he was trying to keep me away from the Cullen's so I wouldn't hook up with any of them. I giggled inwardly , I didn't even know this dude and already didn't like him. He was out of luck,I absolutely hated relationships and didn't take interest in boys.

We walked inside a tall building made with extremely old bricks. I WOULD HAVE TO ENDURE THIS PLACE. As we walked in , I noticed I had the one called Alice in my class. I went to the professor and told him I was the new kid. 'Yes, please introduce yourself.'' Dang , I am so awkward with intros. 'Um. Hi I am Skylar Parker and I came from Pennsylvania . I like to sing and dance , I play four instruments , piano ,  guitar , drums and violin. I have been dancing since I was 4 and love football and basketball.'' I ended awkwardly .'Well I have news , football tryouts are on Friday and basketball tryouts are on Wednesday. You can have a seat next to Ms. Williams'' he said pointing to a blonde haired girl with a pink shirt on and grey sweatpants underneath. She had a big smile on her face. ''Hey I am Cheryl , But you can call me cherry .Um a bit about myself I also really love to dance , mostly hip hop.'' I smiled , I had a dance buddy. I actually kind of like her. But then she said '' I have a crush on Edward Cullen but he is taken. My mom couldn't have moved here earlier so I could have called dibs on the guy before that Bella got to him'' Here we go again.

A/N  Here is chapter 2 of dusk till dawn. What will happen next will she mate with a vampire , or will a certain wolf sweep her off her feet? Read to find out. Just to clarify everything this is the first book in the DUSK series and their are 2 people writing this book , so it's hard to coordinate times and such. Since we are supposed to be undercover writers(read username) we can't tell you are real name. (HINT;WE ARE GURLS)You can call me Elizabeth and her Maleficent. I write most of this and Maleficent gives me the ideas.
