Day 6
Elvan has texted him this morning that Luke would be the one picking up since he had a late shift at the mall. It really didn't matter to Jonathan. He needed a day away from the crazed Christmas maniac. Only so much Christmas can a man deal with. Jonathan typed away at his computer just finishing up some files he was given.
He didn't really mind his job. His next door desk neighbor was his friend Marcel and could always put a smile on his face. He really didn't mind that Marcel was also a Christmas maniac. Because Marcel knew what Christmas meant to him. It was just the worst time for him.
"Yo Jonathan you got something," the mail clerk said as he placed a box of cookies on his desk.
Jonathan hesitantly took the box in his hand and saw who it was from.
"Dear Jonathan,
One day we'll make cookies together! For now enjoy these!
Love your Christmas Elf Evan."
"Awww your boyfriend sent you cookies," Marcel said when he got his hands on the note.
Jonathan had ignored Marcel and opened the box. There were several cookies inside the box. From what he could tell they were sugar cookies as they had chocolate frosting on top. It reminded him of the Starbucks sugar cookies he would get every once in a while. He took one out and bit into it.
He was kind of hoping they were poisoned but sadly they weren't.
It's short. Oh well
