Prologue

I sat down on the sunken chair, defeated, defeated like how the chair sunk at my weight. I stared at my friends in disbelief, and still can't fathom what exactly happen. No one was supposed to find out. No one. Yet,there they were looking at me. No. This can't be happening. I was supposed to be popular. I was supposed to be everything. Everything that people won't ever be, everything that people were supposed to be envy of. Bits of sweat dotted my forehead, inside, I start to melt. Reeling from shock, nothing explained itself, the flurry of questions racing in my mind threatens to engulf me in darkness. And I heard them asked, "Why?"
