Bullied on another level

"Hey" the party heard their bully shout at them when they where gonna enter the school the first day of freshmen year.
"Come on Troy, we're already late" Mike told him.
"Oh look who you have with you. Ginger" Troy started and walked over to Max. He put a finger on her cheeks. "Oh look at you, a cute little tomboy. I can convince you into anything" Troy said. None of them really knew what was happening. Lucas stood frozen and was just taking in what he just said. He figured out what Troy meant by 'I can convince you into anything'. Troy still stood with his hand on an uncomfortable Max's face. "You've got freckles, did you know?"
"What I do? I've never seen them" Max said sarcastically and threw away his hand from her face.
"Hey!" He said loudly and took her arm. Max started getting worried but still had
her badass look in the eyes.
"You don't touch her!" Lucas said.
"Oh I get it" Troy said and let go of Max who stood closely to Lucas.
"You Midnight and Ginger are a...thing and Frogface you've a thing with the cute little girl over here" Troy said and went right up in El's face. She backed up a little. Troy backed away from her and stood in front of everyone.
"You know guys, they'll do you. You just have to ask nicely" Troy said. Max looked at him both angry and embarrassed. Eleven looked at them with a confused look. She didn't know what was happening. "You also have to know how to get them in the mood" Troy said. He started walking towards El but then turned to Max. "Like this" he said and grabbed her. He put her back against his stomach. He held both of her hands in one of his and one on her neck. Max couldn't move. All the boys started to tense. Eleven still stood there confused. She wanted to use her powers to get him away from Max, not that she and Max where friends, but because she just didn't like him being around any of them. But why was he hugging Max backwards?
"Get it guys? Like this" Troy said and took away Max's red hair from her neck. He started leaning his head down against her when Lucas attacked him.
"Like I said, you don't touch her!" Lucas said and punched him in the face. Lucas got out Max out of the way and signaled her to go to Dustin. Lucas knew that Dustin could calm her from this, even though he felt a little uncomfortable with Dustin comforting the girl both of them fought about last year, that Lucas won.
He got in for another hit but Troy was so much stronger than Lucas so he got the hit first. Lucas fell to the ground. Mike signaled to Will and Dustin that they should do something. Will got in and attacked but Dustin just pointed down at the redhead shaking in his arms. Mike gave an improving look and then started hitting Troy as well. Eleven started walking towards the group wanting to help but Dustin took her arm, knowing that none of them wanted El in that mess. El turned around to look at Dustin with determined eyes. He signaled for El to hug Max instead. She wasn't really happy about it but she started hugging and comporting Max anyways. Dustin ran into the school, El didn't really understand why. She got the answer when she saw him coming out with Mr. Clarke.
"Hey Hey!" He shouted reminding El of her new adoptive dad. "Stop it guys!" He yelled at them. The boys backed away from each other. "Why?!" Was all Mr. Clarke could get out of his mouth when all the boys had backed away. By this point, Max had already backed away from El. She was still shaking but it had fainted a little. Lucas looked down at Max. Max looked at him like 'I'm okay'. Mike was the first one to speak.
"He was bullying us so we attacked him" he said not wanting to tell him the real story.
"You hit him because he bullied you?" Mr. Clarke said not convinced at all.
"Yes" all boys, including Troy, said.
"Okay then. I let you get away with it this time but if it ever happens again, I'll call your parents. Understood?" He asked.
"Yes Mr. Clarke." Everyone said. He turned towards Max and Eleven but stopped and looked closely at Max.
"Are you okay?" He asked her.
"Allergies" she said.
"She very allergic" Lucas said.
"Against ..." Mike started.
"Everything" Dustin ended. Lucas gave him a look like 'Really Dustin? Really?'.
"With everything he means almost every seeds and also..." Will said trying to save the situation.
"Grass" Eleven says.
"Yeah" Max said at the end.
"Okay..." Mr. Clarke said and turned around and walked inside the school again. Troy just stood there for a while and took in was just happened. He slowly turned away and then ran towards the parking lot.
"Are you okay Max?" Lucas asked and ran towards her. He touched her hand but he felt her shiver as he did that so he stopped.
"I'm sorry" she said realizing that he got a little hurt by not being able to touch her.
"It's not your fault" Lucas said.
"El are you okay? Did you get hurt? Are you okay?" Mike asked and ran towards El.
"Mike I'm fine." Eleven said and took his hand.
"You sure?" He asked.
"Yes but...what was that?" She said.
"I don't really know what it's called, but it's not good. That shouldn't happen to anyone" Mike said.
"Um everyone, this is probably a bad timing but we're already 20 minutes late to our first class." Will said.
"Yeah come on" Dustin said.
"Come El" Mike said still holding her hand. The four of them walked inside the school. Will turned around.
"Are you guys coming?" He asked. Lucas looked at Max, who was just looking at the ground holding one of her hands on her elbow and the other hand hidden inside her sweater.
"We're coming soon" Lucas said. Will turned around again and walked to the others.
"Max for real, are you okay?" Lucas asked.
"No" Max said and sat down on the stairs. Lucas started sitting down beside her but he could feel how she got uncomfortable by him doing that so he stood up again.
"I'm so sorry he did that to you" Lucas said. He could still feel his anger boiling in his body.
"I'll be fine" she said.
"I'm never gonna let anyone do something like that to you again. No matter if we're dating, married or not even together, nothing like that will ever happen to you again" Max smiled a little of what he said. She wasn't really sure what they where for each other since they had kissed a couple of times and they liked each other being around but they hadn't really talked yet.
"Thank you" she said.
"I thought you where gonna say 'That's presumptuous of you'" Lucas said referring to their first talk. Max smiled a little more. "Should we go to class?" Lucas asked reaching out his hand. Max looked at it at first but then grabbed it. Lucas helped her up but didn't let go after that. They walked together to class. When they reached the classrooms their hands had to let go since they had different classes. But before they reached the doors to the classroom, Max turned around and hug Lucas. She let go after only a couple of seconds.
"I really like you, stalker" she said and looked into his eyes.
"I really like you too, MadMax" he said and kissed her cheek before turning away.
"Sorry I'm late" Lucas said as he stormed into the classroom.
"It's okay" the kind English teacher said. "Beens does that to my belly too" she said. Lucas wasn't sure what she meant first but smiled and sat down beside Dustin.
"What did you tell her?" Lucas whispered to Dustin.
"That you got diarrhea from your beans you ate for breakfast" Dustin said with a grin.
"Aw thanks man" Lucas said a little annoyed.
