Chapter 1:

Meghan's POV

"Meghan!" I heard dad calling me from the dining room.

I went down and see him reading the newspaper.

"Yeah?" Wondering why my dad needed me immediately.

"You remember Louis Tomlinson, your childhood best friend in the UK?" Dad asked with one of his eyebrows raised.

I heard his name Louis Tomlinson and I remembered the last day we spent together before I moved.

**FLASHBACK**

"Lou, thanks for spending time with me today." I told him while getting out of the car. We were walking together towards the door of my house.

"Of course! Anything for my best friend!" Louis hugged me with his arms around my waist and my arms around his neck. I was tiptoeing so it was a bit hard for me.

When we were done with our friendly hug, I just realized I was looking at his gorgeous blue eyes. He pulled me closer to him and we both leaned in. My eyes closed and our lips touched. And I just realized we were in front of my house, kissing. Wait. WHAT?! I'm kissing Louis Tomlinson, my best friend? I placed my hands on his chest and pulled back. We both catched our breath and looked at each other shocked.

"Um...I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow Louis." I ran inside and peeked through the peephole. I saw him kicking the rocks really hard. Was he mad? I think he now knows that I have feelings for him. Great. Tomorrow i'm leaving...

**END OF FLASHBACK**

"Megs? Meghan? Helloooo??" I heard my dad calling me.

I shook my head and went back to reality.

"Yeah, I remember him. Why?" I asked curoiusly.

"Well Jay and I talked yesterday and we decided that you two should spend time together, so you're going to the U.K. this summer." He said with a smile. "Your flight is tomorrow morning so start packing." He continued.\

"Fine, but if this doesn't work, i'm going back here." I said going upstairs to my room.

"Oh, you'll be fine Megs." He assured me.

"Yeah, yeah, if you say so." I murmured.

I finished packing my stuff and drifted to sleep.

Louis' POV

From Mom

Louis, Meghan is going in the U.K. so you could spend time wiht her. Pick her up at the airport at 10.

"Louis, what's wrong?" Liam asked.

I just realized I have been staring at mom's message for so long.

"We're picking up Meghan tomorrow at the airport at 10." I told them.

"Who's Meghan?" Niall asked with his mouth full of chips.

"My best friend, she's going to spend time with us." I explained.

"How come you haven't talked about her?" Harry asked.

It's true. I haven't told them about Meghan, my best friend. I haven't told anyone what happened before she left. I thought that memory would go away, but then she's coming back and i'm not sure if she still remembers what happened. Wait, of course she'll remember. She will remember everything that happened that night. She will remember ... the kiss.

"It's nothing." I replied.
