Water was descending down the vertical cliff, swiftly and with utmost elegance. The water sparkled in the moonlight as it went down the cliff. Everything seemed to slow down.
Ian went closer to the water, so still that it looked like a perfect mirror. He saw himself, an 8 year old boy, with soft, rich brown hair and deep blue eyes.
"Ian..", someone whispered softly. He looked away from the water with fear.
"Who's there?!" Ian shouted, frightened. He turned around, searching for the voice, holding his soft brown hair. He walked further into the woods in his pyjamas that he usually wears at home. Little white flowers had bloomed along the corners of the waterfall. Lush green trees had flowered, making them look even more beautiful in the moonlight. As he walked to the other side, the air was getting colder, a feeling that sent chills down his spine. Along the way, he saw a flight of stairs, like none other he had ever seen.
It went a long way up, ending at infinity that the moon seemed to be at the other end, so high.
The stairs were of oddly cut rocks, giving it a unique texture. He went closer, attracted by the stairs in front of him.
"STOP!", the voice whispered again, only this time the voice seemed closer.
He looked up, and saw a figure hiding the moon, at the other end of the stairs.
"Don't come close to me.!", he screamed in fear, trying to run. The moist ground made him trip and he was lying on the wet rocks.
The figure came closer, only now it seemed to have the shape of a human figure, a little girl.
"Please don't panic", the figure said.,coming closer.
Ian shouted out for help. He could only feel the chilly air hitting him like a knife, the wet floor and the shiver that the figure brought about in him.
"Mom.." he screamed as his vision went blurry."Ian.. Sweetheart are you alright?
He saw through his blurry vision, a woman with long black hair, braided shabbily, tanned skin and dark brown eyes.
" MOM! ", Ian shouted out loud and hugged her, still shivering.
She tried to calm him down.
" What's happening to Ian? It has been too many times now.", a man with a deep voice said. It was his father, who was in his late 40s.
"Just a bad dream, nothing more. Let's not talk about this now,Andrew", she said softly.
"Ian, hey, come here. It's your sister's graduation today. Go get dressed", Andrew said, smiling at Ian.
"Do I really have to go to Elena's graduation? Can't I just stay here? Please, Dad!"
"Oh, no. Sorry boy but you're brother is going too. So you're coming with us.", Andrew said.
Ian got up and went into his room.
"We need to get help. This is not normal, Andrew. I'm just getting bad vibes about his dreams. Its getting worse everyday.", she said to Andrew as Ian shut the door. There was worry in her eyes.
"Hey, it's okay. Just wait this one day. Tomorrow we're going back. We'll get all our answers there. Don't worry Suzanne.", he said, trying to calm her down, hoping no harm would come to them. Again.NOTE:
