My name is Janet. I am the daughter of Leo and Martha. Alpha's of the Southern pack. I have 6 sisters and 2 brothers. I am basically the middle child. My pack was calm and gentle. But once me and my siblings were brought into the world, it was chaos for the older wolves. I'm a teen now, but my father told me that we were going to have to move sooner or later. Reason why is because of hunters. One of the wolf members in our pack was shot and captured. A month later, he came back with a weird thing around his neck. Father smelled the humans scent on him and told him to try and take the thing off him. Luckily he was able to get it off. But father knew they would be coming back. They were another threat added to the list. Other wolves from another pack or a lone wolf is another threat. They would stay and start hunting on our territory which takes away our food. But the pack manages to scare them off. But dad still wants to go to different place. "Janet! It's time to eat." That's my mom Martha. She has light grey fur and yellow eyes. I looked up at the entrance of the cave and saw my father walk up besides my mom. "Come on now Janet. Let's eat." My father, Leo, has white fur and brown eyes. "Coming!" I yelled as I ran up to the cave. My mother nudged me to the cave and stayed outside with my dad. I already saw my siblings eating a fresh kill, so I might as well wait for my turn. "Alright now! Save some for Janet!" I can hear my dad say. He always has my back. No matter what the situation is. My siblings laid down next to mom and I was able to eat. While I was eating, I heard a distant howl. My dad looked at my mother in worry and quickly ran to the entrance of the cave and let out a howl. My siblings heard it and looked at our dad. He looked at our mother and nodded his head. Meanwhile, our mom nudged us to the back of the cave. "Mom. What's going on?" My twin, Janice, asked in worry. "Something has come up and your dad has to take care of it." Our mom said. We all looked at each other in worry and stayed in the corner of the cave. "Stay here. I'll be back." Our mom told us as she made her way outside and let out a howl. We soon heard our dad's howl, and with that, our mom left.

My siblings went to bed already, but I couldn't sleep at all. I was worried about my parents. I didn't want them to be injured and us not knowing. I sigh and go to the entrance. I sniff around the air to see if I can pick up one of my parent's scent. I did pickup a scent. But it was unknown so I went back into the cave. "Janet! What are you doing?! Mom said-!" I cut off my brother, "She said 'Stay here!' besides, I was only at entrance. It wasn't like I had walked all the way to the border." I rolled my eyes and laid by my brother. I could hear him sigh, "Look, just let me know next time... Ok?" I closed my eyes, "Alright.." I then fell asleep, into Dreamland.

~~No one's P.O.V~~Janet was the first to wake up. She stretched and started jogging to the entrance. She looked around and sniffed the air to try and pick up any of her parents scents. "Janet! What are you doing out here?! There are Rogue wolves out here!" The older wolf pack member spoke. "I-I'm sorry... I-I w-wanted to k-know what happened to m-my parents!" Janet spoke as her tail was tucked between her legs. The wolf sighed, "Alright.. I'm sorry. Your mother specifically told me to watch you all. Not just you. You and your siblings. Your father and the hunters and huntresses are patrolling the territory. Some went just now to get some food. But, just stay here until your siblings wake up." She spoke softly and nudged Janet into the cave. 'The poor pups. They don't need to know about this. But here they are... Leo better find a new place now. Otherwise they wouldn't be so safe...' the wolf though as she walked off to have a small meeting with the remaining wolves near the cave.
