Laura sat down on the school's car park, waiting for someone to pick her up, probably her mom or Vanessa.
Her prom hasn't been the best one ever, considering she accepted to attend it with a completely jerk, but she didn't know that.
The boy, who's name was Allan, tried to basically 'get on her pants' all night long. Laura let out a long sigh, knowing that this wouldn't have happened if she had went with the right person.
But the right person wasn't close to where she was. He wasn't even in the city, for calling out loud.
She ran a hand through her hair. It's not like she cared about keeping it classy anymore. There wasn't a point.
She took a look at her long, red dress. She looked flawless on it. Too bad the person she cared about wasn't gonna see it that night.
Eventually, people started to leave the party. She saw many couples walking past her and she couldn't help but feel lonely and depressed.
It wasn't her fault that the boy she went to prom with was a total pervert, did she?
"Probably it is" she thought out loud, tired of all the events she had to experience that night.
Her fault or not, she didn't deserve such a thing. No one does.
Suddenly she saw a big car approaching her spot, and she stood up, more like an automatic movement than a premeditated action.
She thought she recognised the car, but maybe it was because of all the previous events that left her brain tired or maybe it was because of dark.
But when the car stopped next to where she was standing and someone got out of it, she knew she had guessed right.
She smiled widely, forgetting about the shittiest prom ever she had experience, and the fact that it was the last one for her. But she couldn't care less.
"Ross" she said, more like an statement than a question.
He smiled back at her and put his arms around her, not sure if she was going to cry or not. She didn't look too happy, sitting by herself in the parking lot's cold hard floor.
"How comes you're here?" Laura asked him when they pulled away, a grin never leaving her face.
He wasn't even in the city that morning and now he was standing in front of her, all dressed up, like he's been getting ready for hours.
She was astonished.
"I drove here" he chuckled. Laura rolled her eyes.
"Your sister texted me saying that you needed someone to take you home, so I offered" he smiled and took her hand "But later"
Laura felt her cheeks grow hot "What do you have in mind?"
Ross smirked "Well, we didn't dress up for nothing, now did we?"
His tone was funny and Laura couldn't help but laugh at him. She still couldn't believe that Ross was there, with her. She felt like a princess in a fairy tale. And he was her prince.
Ross helped Laura to get into the car and then he drove away "Are you sure this doesn't count as kidnapping?" Laura joked.
"I'm pretty sure if I wanted to kidnap you I would've done it already" he smirked "And I would've succeeded, too"
