Shield My Eruption- (ch.1)
Home alone. Yet again. This was how my life was usually spent, with my mother always gone, hence she's a single parent, raising me by herself. She's been to hell and back trying to raise me. And it's all because of one man, and his name is Kyle Price. My sad excuse of a father. He left me when I was born for my mom to raise by myself. Well you know what, screw him. I don't need him anyways. I'm 24, and I still live in my mother's house, but I don't care, and neither does she. She loves my company. Besides, I'll be out soon pursuing my dream of becoming a photographer, even though many say I'd be better off as a model, which I can't argue, I am kind of attractive.
I opened the fridge, and grabbed the milk carton. I was in the mood for some cereal. I put the milk on the table, and went over to dishwasher to grab a bowl. But as I bent down, I could've swore I say something, or someone, move on the patio outside.
I ignored it, and continued my routine. I walked with a bowl in my hand over to the table with the milk. I put it down and was about to open the milk carton until i felt a hand on my shoulder.
I then heard a whisper in my ear, "Come with me, princess." I gasp, and then turn around to see a man, a rather big man, with short messy dirty blond hair and piercing blue eyes towering over me.
I felt scared but then I felt a little bit of my mother's confidence build in me. She always taught me that no matter what situation I'm in, showing that you're scared only makes it worse.
"Get out of my house before I call the police," I warn. He chucles, and then smiles.
"Look sweetheart, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way," he informs me.
Ha. The audacity of this man. So I punch him, right in the face. He groans in pain. I smile, proud of what I have done.
I go to punch him again, but this time he catches my wrist. My eyes widen in fear.
"Don't EVER do that again," he says through gritted teeth. I look at his hand that is wrapped tightly around my wrist.
"Let. Me. Go." I say angrily. He shakes his head no. I then look at my other hand.
Hmmmm. I slap him, and then knee him in the groin. He curses and bends over in pain. I took this oppurtunity to run but as soon as I started, I felt his arm sling around my waist, pulling me to him. My back against his chest.
"You leave me no choice," he whispers in my ear.
My eyes twitch in confusion until a mysterious cloth is covered on my face. I fight the strong eroma as hard as I could, but it was too strong. I slipped out of consciousness.
