JULIA'S POV

I woke up from a loud noise that was made beside me. I tried to open my eyes but I was too tired to even try.

I heard chuckling beside me and I turned my head around, squinting my eyes trying to figure out who was there.

"Hey, darling", the arm around my waist tightened and I instantly recognized them as Ken's and snuggled to them and hummed in content.

He just chuckled a bit before saying, "We need to get up. It's nearly six thirty. We have work"

I sighed as I sat up and removed his arms away from my body. He copied me and sat beside me.

"Good morning", I said looking at him.

"Good morning", he said smiling and leaning towards me.

We kissed once, twice and after the third, he pulled away and said, "Now go brush your teeth, you have morning breath"

I laughed and punched him lightly on his chest and he winced a bit, "Oh shit, I forgot, sorry", I said quietly, remembering what happened yesterday.

I kissed him lightly on the cheek then went to the bathroom and took a shower.

After I finished showering, I got out of the bathroom into the bedroom and I heard a song playing from outside the room.

I giggled to myself, thinking that Ken might be singing along to the song and went over to my closet.

I opened it and took out a light blue blouse and
some dark denim jeans and wore them.

And as I went to apply make-up, Ken opens the door and the first thing that I noticed is that he was ready and that the song that I couldn't hear earlier, came with him and I recognized it as Perfect by Ed Sheeran.

But I ignored him and put on my make-up. He then started singing along loudly and making weird gestures with his hands as to act the song out.

I kept on ignoring him as I looked over my face and make-up and then picked up my earnings and started putting them on.

I suddenly felt him lurking behind me, still singing. I giggled as he put his hands on my waist and started moving me around.

I started laughing as he turned me around to face him and we started dancing together to the song.

My laughs slowly turned to smiles as he lead the dance. I leaned my head on his head and followed his lead.

We suddenly stopped as Ed sang, "Baby, I'm dancing in the dark, with you between my arms, barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song, when I saw you in that dress, looking so beautiful, I don't deserve this, darling, you look perfect tonight", and Ken started leaning towards me and as we were ready to kiss, my phone started ringing.

I pulled away from Ken as I sighed and picked up the phone from the table and answered it without looking at the name.

"Hello, Julia Havis talking"

"What the fuck, Julia! Where are you?! I have been waiting for you for like fifteen minutes!", I removed the phone away from my ear as Melissa started shouting at me.

Ken went outside the room to turn off the music and then came back, "I am so sorry! Fuck! Sorry! We are coming right now to get you!", I said following Ken outside the room and I started putting on my boots still on call with Melissa.

"Wait, what?", Melissa said, "We?"

"Yes, Ken and I, oh,", I said remembering that I didn't tell her about yesterday, "I'll explain when we meet. I need to go! See you later!"

"Ok, bye!", she hung up as I went out of the house with Ken.

"We have to pick Melissa up from the train station", I told him and he nodded understandingly, "Were you supposed to meet her at the station?", he laughed as we walked to the car and got in.

"Yes, and someone made me forgot about her", I said, putting on my seatbelt as he started the car and drove towards the station.

"Ken?", I asked after a while and he hummed, "Put on the song that we were listening to before we got interrupted"

"Ok", he said, smiling and put it on.

I then started singing along Ed, "I found a love for me, darling just dive right in, and follow my lead", I began and then Ken started singing with, "Well I found a girl beautiful and sweet, I never knew you were the someone waiting for me, 'cause we were just kids when we fell in love"

He removed his right hand from the wheel to hold mine. I squeezed his hand and continued on singing.

The song came into an end and Ken sighed.

"A penny for your thoughts?", I said as I noticed that he was sighing a lot.

"I am not a guy that likes showing his feelings but I am honestly scared and worried about Melissa's opinions about me. Like what she'd think about me now and why and shit. It's stupid, I know but I can't help being scared of your best friend's opinion about me", he sighed after telling me about his feelings.

I was shocked at first because he really told me his feelings but then I told him after he squeezed my hand to remind me of what we are doing, "Look, Ken, um... I am pretty sure that Melissa is going to love you and yes, she is going to be skeptical at first and that's because of our past but then she'll open up to you, so don't worry and don't call yourself stupid for having feelings and I am very happy that you trust me so much to tell me about them", I said, smiling happily at him and squeezed his hand to show him my support.

He nodded and sighed, "Juls, you are honestly the best thing that has happened to me"

We looked at each other lovingly for a moment and after a bit we were in front of the train station where Melissa was.

We spotted Melissa and drove to get in front of her.

She opened the back door and got in the car, "Hello you guys!", Melissa said cheerfully.

"Hey, Mel", I said.

"Hey", Ken said quietly.

"You have a lot to explain, Juls", she said, "I know", I sighed and told her everything that happened.
