Just Friends? (Cethany)

*Bethany's POV*

So like usual, I woke up feeling a bit crappy. But I've got a busy day ahead! Kinda. I do my normal morning routine and go downstairs to my kitchen. It was silent, too silent. Slowly creeping up behind me was Winnie. But I caught my big boy and gave a hug. Aww, he's the only man in my life, also my awesome Dad.

After Breakfast, I headed to my room to find baby Marin sitting there with Briddy. "Aww! She looks so cute." I shouted out.
"Woah! If I got a dollar every time you said that. I'd be rich!" Briddy laughed.
"I love you, but you can be annoying!" I laughed my head off.

I got dressed, I was wearing a black romper and a cute cardigan with my new black sandals. "Bye Dad, tell mum I'll be back by 10." I smiled and my Dad waved goodbye.
Roxy and Ava picked me up and now we were off.

We arrived and I obviously hugged everyone! Connor, Ricky, Kian and Cimorelli. Ricky got out a camera and introduced me and I had to explain what was going on. When he was done, I turned around and I bumped into Connor. "Oh! Sorry Connor!" EMBARRASSING! He just smiled and said "Sorry, Bethany, I just wanted to take a picture?" I nodded and we took our picture. It was really awkward...

*Connor's POV*

I took a picture with Bethany, you could notice it was awkward because after she just smiled and looked at the picture like she was so nervous. "Could You send me that picture, I want to post have it in my gallery for today's memories." She looked up at me, All at once, everything looked different. Say something Connor! "Oh okay! Here you go." She got the picture and walked off. I really wanted to get to know her. But she's talking to Ricky right now... So instead, I go up to Kian and tell him. "Kian, could I talk to you, like alone?"

"Sure, want do you want?" He asked as we walked away from the crowd.

"You know Bethany, I think.........I......Like her." Kian was so close to scream but he shut his mouth up.

"Dude! You've got to go a make a move!"

"Yeah but if she says no, I'm dead. She'd probably never talk to me..."

"Then don't make the move now, wait a few days or weeks."
Kian left it to me. I had to make my choice now.

*Bethany's POV*

You could notice that Roxy and Ava where having a great time at the Bonfire Party. I didn't talk to Connor that much so I decided to go up to him. I walked towards him and just popped in front of him.

"Hi Connor!" I said with a smile.

"Hi Bethany!" He looked up at me.

"What are you doing over here? All on your own?"

"Just wanted some peace time"

"Oh okay"

"Bethany, could I ask you something?"

"Yeah sure go for it Connor."

"Okay. If one of your close friends liked you in a different way, what would you say about it?"

"I'm not sure at the moment, but I think I'd wait for them to calm down as if we break up, I'd never talk to them anymore."

"Oh okay. Anyway, let's go to the bonfire!"

"Okay"

We ran off. Connor was being less awkward and more friendly now. Weird?

*Later On**Connor's POV*

It was time to leave. Bethany was going as well obviously. Before she went, she gave everyone a hug. I had a destiny to make that hug make her feel something. Not in a physical way though. So as she hugged me, I wanted her to be mine. The thing was, she didn't let go of me, she was still a "holding me" position and she was just chatting to Kian. I didn't want it to be awkward so I decided to lift her up and move her away. She found it fun while I didn't, STUPID ME!

"Bethany," I asked, "I seriously need to talk to you"

"Sure" she replied with a curious face.

"Bethany, we're good friends, I know what you said earlier was true but Bethany..."

"What Connor spill it out!?" She jumped up and down with excitement.

"I... Like... Want... To go out.... To the movies with you?!" She punched me in the arm.

"You got all my excitement up for no reason at all! I hate you!" She started laughing.
I couldn't tell her, it was to early. I have to tell her in private without friends near us.
