"Lucas" Dustin said with a grin while walking into Lucas room.
"Yeah?" he asked confused. The party sat in Lucas room. His parents were with Erica at her dance competition out of town. El and Mike sat beside each other with their backs against Lucas bed reading a comic. Will sat on Lucas bed, studying for a test and Max was laying next to Lucas on his bed, reading a comic.
"I found a playboy in your bathroom"
Everyone's head shot up. 10 eyes were staring at Lucas. Lucas had his head hidden in the comic, embarrassed and surprised.
"What's a playboy?" Eleven asked. It seemed like none of the teenage boys were going to tell her.
"Really guys? Do I always have to tell her all this kinds of stuff? Come on Mike, you're her boyfriend" Max said.
"Yeah come on Mike" Lucas said, no longer hiding his face.
"You can't say anything 'bout this Lucas! It was your magazine" Mike said. Lucas got embarrassed again.
"Max just tell her" Will said. "Mike will never do it anyways." Max got annoyed.
"Ah fine." she said. "Playboy is a magazine with pictures on naked women. Guys like to look at it and...like, masterbate" Max felt really weird talking about this stuff in front of teenage boys, where one of them is her boyfriend but she did it anyways. They all had agreed that they would answer El's questions and she was the one who got to tell her about all this kind of stuff.
"What's m-masterbate?" Eleven asked.
"Can someone else talk now?" Max said. Her face was really red. Lucas was still embarrassed. Mike just sat looking straight forwards. Dustin looked at the ground and Will looked around at all the boys.
"Really? You guys are so immature" Max said. "You know how men and women have different private parts?"
"No?" Eleven said questionably.
"Okay well, you can't change in front of anyone right?" Max said.
"No" El said remembering what the first thing Mike thought her was.
"That's because you're not supposed to show your private parts" Max said.
"Oh" El said.
"And guys have a different...thing than we have" Max said.
"Thing?" El asked.
"Yeah, you know. The part down there" Max said.
"Oh. It doesn't look like girl's...thing looks like?" El said.
"No, it doesn't. But girls can still masterbate" Max said, very red.
"Why?" El asked.
"Instead of sex" Max said shortly.
"Oh" it was quiet for a while. "Why does Lucas have one?"
"I don't know. Ask him" Max said and sternly looked at Lucas.
"Uhm" he said.
"El that's something you don't ask a man" Mike said.
"I'm sorry" El said.
"Well I'm still wondering" Max said still looking at Lucas who was looking down in the comic.
"Me too" Dustin said. "She doesn't give you what you want?" Max eyes now moved from Lucas to Dustin. Lucas eyes also went to look at Dustin.
"Dustin that was not respectful" Lucas said.
"Okay I'm sorry" Dustin said. "But for real tho, why do you have one?"
"Why do you have to know?"
"He doesn't, but I do" Max said. Lucas turned his head to look at her.
"Well I-I, you know, I'm a teenager and...a boy...and" Lucas said.
"Do you want it?" Max asked, not caring about all the eyes staring at them.
"Want what?" El whispered to Mike.
"Sex" he whispered back.
"Uhh I'm...I don't know" Lucas said. Her face got frozen, like ice.
"What happened to her?" Eleven asked and walked up to Max.
"She just got shocked." Mike said.
"El could we...talk" Max said and looked at El.
"Yes" El said and Max got up from Lucas bed. All the boys were quiet, some of them embarrassed, some of them just felt weird and one of them really worried.
"You think she'll brake up with me?" Lucas asked when the girls had left the room. He looked at the only one who actually knew something about girls, Mike.
"No she won't." Mike said.
"You think he'll brake up with me now? Because I'm not ready for sex yet" Max said.
"No, not if he loves you" El said.
"But I don't want him to have sex with someone else" Max said.
"Why would he?" El asked.
"Because...if you can't give a guy what he wants he may look for it in others" Max said.
"He won't" El said.
"How do you know?"
"He won't" El repeated. They returned Lucas room. Lucas ran toward Max the first thing he did when she entered.
"Max I'm sorry we really don't have to, I just-" Lucas started but got cut of by Max kissing him. Everyone looked away from them, letting them have their moment.
"But I'm not ready. I'm just 14" Max said.
"I know. We don't have to do it, we won't do it" Lucas said. "Not until we're both 100% ready"
"And 100% older than 14" Max said and smiled.
"Yes" Lucas said and hugged her.
