I kept hearing beeping noises but I was having a hard time opening my eyes. After a few more tries I finally got them opened and saw that I was in a hospital room.
I lifted my head a bit seeing my mom and Dad sitting in the chairs by the window.
"Mom, Dad" I said softly
"My baby" my mom yelled running to me "you okay?? Anything hurts? Need the doctor?" She asked
"My whole body hurts" I groaned in pain
I was used to Angelo beating me but nothing like this. It never got to the point where I ended in the hospital
"Kayoir you better leave that nigga alone you understand me?" My Dad said as he Came up to me
"Yes Daddy" I said trying not to cry
I felt stupid that I let a nigga have that much power over me. I was always taught to never let a man put his hands on you but Angelo put fear in me. I was scared to do anything with fear that'll he'll beat me. It didn't help that I felt alone considering the fact that I didn't have older brothers like everyone else did. I had nobody to have my back and I surely didn't want to go to my parents
"Patrick right now is not the time to be ordering her. Can't you see she's in pain and you worried about that boy" my mom told my dad while she got my bed ready
"Tyrah you think I'm going to sit here and let this nigga beat her. She needs to know that she ain't going back to him. Period"
"Can you atleast worry about her healing and getting better before you worry about her seeing him again?"
"I'm sorry baby girl. I love you and don't want anything to happen to you that's why I'm telling you this"
"I love you too daddy. And I love you mommy"
"I love you too sweetheart. You need anything?" She asked
"Some water please"
My mom nodded her head walking over to the little table they had in here getting the cup they usually give you full of water and bringing it over to me.
I quickly drank as much as I could feeling refreshed
"Knock knock" I heard someone say as the door opened revealing Leah and everyone else
"Thank god you're okay" Leah and Marielle ran to me
"I'm good guys" I laughed as they hugged me carefully trying not to hurt me
