"FIVE...FOUR...THREE...TWO...ONE...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" Everyone shouted
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SKYLAR!!!!" Tae shouted and hugged me
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" All my other friends shouted as they ran to me and group hugged.
"Sky, can I talk to you for a moment?" Tae asked
"Yeah," I said
"How can I repay you, Sky, for all the good things you've done?" he asked
"You don't need to repay me," I said
"No, I want to repay you the best way possible," he said, "Sky, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, of course," I said full of joy
"I love you so much, Sky."

I took my phone and texted Soomi and Soonhee
Name changed to Soomi 😝
Name changed to HeeHee 😂
Me: Do you guys want to hang out today?
HeeHee 😂: Sorry Sky, but we're having a family reunion and won't be able to hang out with you.
Soomi 😝: Yeah we're really sorry
I then went on to texting the guys
Me: Do you guys want to hang out at the mall?
TaeTae 👽: Sorry, we have dance practice today

I felt sad, but I went to the mall by myself.
I walked and looked at the displays of the many stores at the mall. I saw many couples walking and holding hands. They were all so lovey dovey and I didn't know whether I wanted to puke because I hated PDA or if I was just a little jealous, well, maybe very jealous. Suddenly, as I was distracted by my thoughts, I bumped into someone.
"Oh! Mianhae!"
"And we bump into each other once again. You really need to be more careful," the person I bumped into, who just happened to be Mark, said with a chuckle, "What are you up to?"
"I was gonna do some New Years slash birthday shopping, but a lot- I mean- all of my friends were really busy," I explained
"I hope that you don't mind if I tag along."
"I don't mind," I answered
We walked around and saw a few stores.
"Let me buy you something," Mark said
"You don't have to," I said
"But it's your birthday, and I want to buy you something," he replied, "Here, how about this little purse?"
"But you don't have to-"
