It's almost 12 in the morning and Krisilyn and I are still cleaning up this damn house. I'm still in some kind of trance from what Shalei said in the truck. Damn, why did she have to be right...I thought... It's ridiculous how I keep doing the same thing over and over again. This shit is beyond desperate.  “Ugh, I'm so tired." Krisilyn sighs and then flops down on the couch. “ Go to bed, I can handle it from here." I tell her but, I suddenly start to feel extremely tired as well. “ On second thought, we can just call it a night...." She nods and we both stand to fall out upstairs...or at least that was my plan. But, Krisilyn had other ideas. She blocks me from going up the stairs and pushes me back down on the couch. I can't say anything but, she has a lot to say:

“ Jamari, it's time that I let you in on some things...VERY personal things. You may know where I'm going with this...Then again, you may not. During these few days that I've spent with you, I've had time to think this through. I've asked myself thousands of questions and I couldn't exactly find the answers until earlier. Now that we're alone, I can deeply enlighten you...." She starts at me, coming closer than we've been in some days. I slouch down a little because her actions are unpredictable. “ Now, I'm going to do something that will determine your fate...If I turn you in or if I let you roam free." Her words are firm and her face is emotionless all over again. Her brown and gray eyes stab the sides of my head. It hurts to look but, I can't turn away. “I have three questions...You answer them correctly and you'll be free but, answer them wrong and various consequences will follow. Only you know the right answers to these questions. I'm just looking for facial expressions to explain rather its true or not. So, let's begin."
