Chapter 7

//SATURDAY MORNING//

Brad asked me to come and watch him play on Sunday. I didn't really feel like it and told him I still felt sick and I prefer to stay home this weekend. I just stayed home and did my homework. Oh and I also watched movies, some of them with my mom since she didn't have work.

//3 WEEKS LATER//

Brad and I started talking more and more. We just think so alike. Brad and I talked on our first break. I told him how I wanted to change school since, I felt alone at times. And he just told me not to since I'm the only one he opens up to. When I got to my classroom Ava was there.

-Hey Madds. –she told me

-Hey, what's up?

-Not much, I have to tell you something but, don't say anything or else they will blame me.

-Okay (?) sure.

-Brad, has a girlfriend. They broke up and got back together.

-Oh, really? It's fine. I'm not on to him like that.

I lied... I think... I didn't know how to feel about what she told me or about Brad.

Ava just left my classroom.

//1 WEEK LATER, ON A FRIDAY//

Brad asked me to stay after school and watch him play volleyball. So, I did. He wanted to talk but, he just didn't tell me anything. He left as soon as his game finished. So did I. I then went to a pizza place near my school to celebrate a friend's birthday. When everyone left, I walked to the salon and got my hair cut.

I had a reunion that night. My best friend Cam was going to pick me up so we could both go to the reunion. I changed my clothes and called Cam.

-Caaaam, I'm ready.

-kk be there in 10.

-Yeaaaah okay byeeeee

-Byeee see you soon.

I hung up.

When we got there, they were playing beer pong. I just watched Cam play. She's so good at it.

//6 HOURS LATER//

We got to my house and changed. My mom had some friends over. We had some food and went to bed. As soon as I woke up I went to see my mom since it was her birthday. I sang to her with Cam, and had some breakfast. Cam left early that day. My mom just had a reunion with her friends and my best friend Dave came. I made a cake for my mom when Dave came with some other friends. We all used to hang together. We went to my room and played on the PlayStation.

Brad didn't text me until Sunday. We just talked about what we did that weekend. He went to a party and got an ear pierced. Yeah... he's kind of a badass kind of guy. But, I think he just does it to be someone. He thinks different than the other badass guys. He smokes, although he doesn't drink. On the other hand I'm not on to the whole smoking thing, just drinking. We also talked about how he thinks that my Language Arts teacher looks like one of the monsters from Monsters University.

When suddenly he tells me:

Brad: I have a girlfriend; I've been with her for 8 months. We broke up and got back together. I didn't want to tell you because I didn't know what was happening with us.

Me: It's fine.

Brad: Sorry for not telling you before.

Me: It's fine really. But, if I told you that I do like you, would you tell me?

Brad: If you really are made for me, we'll have our time, if not we'll stay like now.

Me: That's not what I mean. You just told me that since you know I'm not on to you, you told me about your girlfriend.

Brad: Sorry, I didn't mean it that way. I just had to tell you since you're a person I love. Like it or not, destiny decides it all.
