It has been 2 days since Chel started ignoring Kyungsoo. It was 9 o'clock when he woke up without the familiar warmth radiating off his girlfriend around his arms. Usually, he'd wake up first to admire her soft features with the light coming from the window making her look more beautiful and ethereal.

But that day, it was different.

Of course, he wondered about his girlfriend's whereabouts. He inevitably saw a note by their nightstand. "I'm out with friends today. Don't miss me too much." was written on a yellow sticky note which made him frown. Because they never leave without a kiss for good luck as parting.

But that day, it was different.

He waved it off, though. It was just a day with friends after all. Kyungsoo hangs out with Chanyeol, Baekhyun and the others after all and Chel does the same as well with her own set of friends. But usually, they say it beforehand like the night before they do hang out.

But of course on that day, it was different.

Different because there were no texts, no selfies, no calls, no nothing from his girlfriend who usually never fails to update him. He recalls one particular day out of Chel where she constantly sent selfies and pictures of her and her friends even though their day out was just at the mall. A small smile formed at his heart-shaped lips as he thought of all the 'I miss you' messages he received from her on that particular day but today, it vanished in an instant. Vanished because as he read the mocking "9:30 pm" on his lock screen, he remembers how he hasn't received any single form of update from his girlfriend about the said 'day out'.

'How was your day out? :)' he sent to Chel and waited. Waited for the message he so badly want to receive since he's been messaging her since he woke up but he was given nothing. His effort was worthless though for as he checked his phone again, he read the digits '10:07 pm' on the lock screen and he sighed.

"What a long day out that is that you haven't contacted me all day." He muttered, somewhat bitter but he just shrugged it off. It's Chel after all.

But that day, it was totally different. There was something off.

Until another day passed.

And today, he can't resist it anymore.

It was another day of waking up alone in a suddenly cold bed because of an abrupt loss of warmth. He messaged Chel again, hoping for a response but it wasn't given to him again.

And then at 12:33 pm, he got a response. Actually, no. He didn't receive a response but he only received a text. A text with a picture which was somehow a response, an answer to his question about Chel's whereabouts.

'bro have u seen this yet? :0' Kyungsoo read the text sent from Chanyeol and saw a picture. A picture of Chel with Baekhyun looking like she's having the time of her life with another man's arms around him.

"You're with Baekhyun then?" Kyungsoo asked, no, he said in a-matter-of-fact tone, when Chel picked up on the fourth ring.

An uncomfortable silence suddenly fell between them. Then Chel abruptly laughed. "What, Soo? What do you-"

"I saw the picture, Chel." Kyungsoo said and closed his eyes. (He's probably gonna get a headache.) "You. With Baekhyun's arms around you."

Yes, he knows Baekhyun but no, he didn't know that such a thing would ever happen like his best friend putting his arms around his girlfriend.

"It's just a game, Soo." Chel would say but Kyungsoo doesn't buy it. Who would buy that excuse? But it's the truth for her side since it is really a game after all. A game of trying to resist the one you love with something whispering at the back of her mind saying "I love Kyungsoo. I miss him."
