Chapter 9: Is she gonna come?

Jacobs POV:
I was going on tour again not a surprise this was a small west coast one.

Tonight was the big first start of the tour. It's gonna be amazing its in this beautiful venue in San Diego and it's not that far from Aria's house at tops 3 hours. Aria's supposed to show up sometime tonight and that made the first show even more special. I couldn't wait to meet all the fans and just sing my heart out.

I was getting dressed and ready for the m&g when my phone was buzzing like crazy, I ignored it figures that it was something unimportant and I continued to get dressed and I looked at myself in the mirror. After someone called me two times my phone made a text tone sound. It was Aria.

Aria: I can't make it tonight, jacob please don't be mad at me something came up sorry.

I read the text and began to feel a little upset about it. I wasn't gonna make her feel any sorrier that she already was so I let her know it was okay. It sounds bad but what could she be possibly doing that was more important than me? I was sad about my mood changed from excited filled with joy to just sad. Everyone around me could tell something was wrong. "Jacob you ready?" Clark asked me. "Yep" I said and Clark glared at me.

"Whats up with you? you're usually pumped up and excited to meet everyone" He said shaking his head. "Aria's not coming" I said firmly. "Cheer up, you're doing what you love most meeting every one of you're fans here" Clark said walking away. After He walked away Grant approached me. "Yo why are you all sad?" He said playfully punching me.

"I'm good except Aria isn't coming tonight and I was looking forward to her being able to see what I love and do all the time" I explained to him. "Bro it's alright she can come some other time I'm sure" Grant said trying to cheer me up a little.

Aria's POV:

I can't come to Jacob's show tonight and I felt so bad about but other things happend. I had to help my mom get ready for her book release party. My mom did tell me that she would figure things out and hopefully it came through and I could leave but I knew that really meant she wanted me to help.

An hour after I told Jacob I wasn't coming my mom told me that I should really go and Jacob wanted me at his show so badly and she'd do the rest by herself. I tried to tell her that he'd be fine and I could help her but she made me go and literally pushed me out of the door.

I looked at the time and it was almost a quarter past 3 and I jumped into my car and I punched in the gps the address of the venue and I started driving. When I got to the venue almost three hours later I was tired out from driving and I was confused. I never told Jacob that I would be able to make it in time and I wanted to suprise him but I couldn't get past security if I didn't actually have a ticket to enter.

I called Dylan, one of Jacobs friends going on tour with him and he immediately picked up. "Yo Aria please tell me you're hear or something" I laughed into the phone "I am I actually made it, but I'm gonna need you're help so I can get in." I spoke. "Alright, meet me at the back entrance theres a bodyguard there and when you get there I'll be waiting for you" He said and I hung up.

When we got backstage Dylan guided me around and he told me Jacob was doing soundcheck and he'd be done in about 5 minutes. When Jacob finished I heard his voice "the crowds amazing, but I still wish that Aria was here" to Grant.

"I am here" I said shouting and running to him. "I'm so happy you are oh my gosh" He said squeezing me. "I can't believe it you tricked me" I pouted "sorry i kinda did but im excited" I replied. "I go on stage right after Dylan's soundcheck im nervous now" he half smiled. "You'll do better than incredible you'll do better than you usually do" I said assuring him.

Seeing Jacob perform was one of the most and best experience I ever had. He song with so much emotion and he had a special connection with fans it made me realize how amazing he was. He fooled around a bit too especially with Dylan. I wish that I could have been on stage with him or out in the crowd but I thought it'd be terrifying somewhat too. His fans did know who I was through social media. Either way best time of my life I'll never forget it.
