Archie, Veronica, Betty and Jughead, or as they're known, the core four, were as always drinking some milkshakes at Pops but this time to celebrate the end of one era, the end of the black hood mystery. The group of friends was finally able to forget all the bad things that happened to them and finally start having fun as the summer break had just started.

-Archie's P.O.V
We were sitting at Pop's and I could tell everyone was exited for summer break, so I asked - what are we doing this summer? There's literally nothing to do here.
Jughead just turns at me like I said something of another world - oh, that's one sentence that I never thought I would hear based on the last months here.
-Please Jug, we're finally free to do everything we want without having to worry if anyone wants to kill us – said Ronnie
-wow V! That was so cheering – said Betty in the most ironic way possible.
I kept thinking of ideas about what we could do, one thing I was sure about, I needed to spend the entire summer with my 2 best friends and my girlfriend, that's all I wanted. My thoughts were interrupted by Ronnie's voice - what if we all went to New York? – I think I felt kind of apprehensive at that time but I agreed after Jug and Betty immediately said yes to Ronnie.

I was so excited when they all agreed, especially Archie! I know for sure we will have the best summer ever, I just have to start organizing everything, I want to make this the weeks they will never forget.
Back in Brooklyn
Clary, Jace, Alec and Izzy a group of four Shadowhunters were rushing through the streets as their vampire friend Simon had called them for an emergency.

-Clary's P.O.V
I couldn't stop running, I didn't feel my legs anymore but I needed to know what was wrong -Simon! What the hell happened? – I screamed the loudest as I could.
-We came as fast as we could! What's the emergency? – asked Jace almost losing his breath
-oh! Wow! I'm so sorry – said Simon as we could tell he was the most nervous person on earth - it isn't properly an emergency.
I could feel Jace and Alec getting really mad behind me, I just kept thinking what the hell was going on there - you're kidding, right? – they both asked at the same time.
-I just wanted to invite you all to my show in New York!
I swear I felt so annoyed at this point - Simon! You could have said that on the phone! We came running for you! – that boy never knows when he's being inconvenient. I just wanted to say no, just like I think Jace and Alec wanted as well, but we had no time, Izzy just jumped ahead and said that we would all be going, honestly I don't know who I got more mad at, Simon or Izzy.
-Simon's P.O.V
I could feel the anger coming out of Jace, Alec and Clary towards both me and Izzy but she was just trying to help me, so I guess I should do the same – don't be mad at Isabelle, please, it's fine if you don't want to go – deep down I hoped they would come but I could never do this to Izzy, after all she's the one.
-just shut up, would you? – said Jace with his eyes on fire – we're just mad because you said it was an emergency and it was everything but that
I knew they were right – yeah I know, I'm sorry again – I said praying that they would forgive me.
-yeah fine, we can go, but NEVER DO THIS AGAIN, did you understand? – asked Alec
I could feel he was not kidding and I was so nervous, I couldn't form a sentence, so I just said yes and they walked away.
