Till the Last One's Standing

     This weekend was my weekend.  All my friends would be there.  It was my biggest sleep-over.  My best friends Dakota, Erica, Aylin, Mia, and Brooke.  This was going to be the best!!  My parents finally trusted me to have a sleep-over on my own.  My friends came at 6:00

     We all were eating our pizza.  Dakota and I were eating ours cold (it's better to us).   We all decided to sit in a circle talking about gossip you know typical girl talk. And I start laughing really hard and I look over at Brooke and I see her staring in the distance while we are all laughing. Then Brooke put her finger up to her lip and said "shhhh" while looking in the distance still. And we were all quite. The lights go out and Brooke screams.

     Lights go on and Brookes missing. Erica screams and points to the wall. I look behind me and in blood "Brookes gone". We all panic. We call our parents but the lines dead the phones were cut off. We couldn't leave we were far out for anybody to help we  looked everywhere. Brooke was nowhere to be found.  After a couple hours we sat talking about what just happened Mia told us it could have been the The Dark man. I asked what the heck that is.

     Mia explained what The Dark man is. he is a man that likes to haunt girls.  He only takes the ones that see him.   We all think that's what happened to Brooke. We decided to go to sleep.

     I woke up to Aylin screaming. Turns out we only had been asleep for five min. I asked Aylin why she was screaming. Aylin said she closed her eyes and saw Brooke. Her dream was Brooke just standing there with blood coming out from her head. And just there in the dark she put her finger up to her lip saying "shhh" And that's when Aylin woke up in fear.

     We all sat in a circle making sure Aylin was ok as she sat there in tears.  I looked at Erica staring in the distance I screamed Please Erica look at me. But she kept staring in the distance. And then slowly brought her finger up to her lip and said "shhh." And that's when the lights go out and Erica screams.

    Erica was gone. I found the blood on the wall saying "Erica is mine." We tried to go to sleep but couldn't Aylin was panicking so she decided to lie down. As she started to get sleepy she would toss and turn and scream in her sleep  Mia kept shaking her but it was no use. Aylin lied there with with her eyes straight open. She slowly sat up.  Turned her head, pointed at Dakota. She sat there pointing at Dakota and said "Your next." And then Dakota in fear got up and slapped Aylin in the face screaming "NOO!!"

     Dakota stops freezes and starts to stare into the distance. I hear Aylin start to cry.  And as I accepted the lights go out and Dakota screams an ear splitting scream. We all gasp in pain to cover our ears.

    The lights turn on and all that was left of Dakota was her favorite hair clip.  I wore it in memory of her. I looked around all that was left of us was Me, Aylin, and my bestie Mia A. I looked over at mia and we hugged each other in tears cause we both knew she was next.

     We knew she was next because Aylin sees what happens either after  or before they are gone we suspected she was the Seeker. Mia and I didn't let go. We held each other close the whole time. I couldn't lose my best friend.

~The Next Day~

    The next day nobody came. No one's parents came my parents didn't come back either. And no one called. Mia and I woke up talking while Aylin was asleep on the floor. Mia asked me even if she is taken that we will always be best friends forever. I told her yes of course!! And we both sat there hugging and crying.

    Aylin woke up and we all sat there very quite listening to the ticking of the clocks. Aylin spoke first all she said was "I saw something" Mia and I looked at each other then her. I asked what did she see.

     Aylin saw Mia talking with someone or something. But Mia wasn't happy. She was very upset. Aylin said at the end she slowly put her finger up to her lip and said "shhh" to Aylin.

~That Night~

   We all sat there seeing what was going to happen next. Nothing did. I got up and said let's not wait around for this "dark man" let's have fun while we can. Aylin said I was right. So we had fun of what we had left.

    We made fattie ice creams with gummie bears and chocolate syrup.We all did each others nails and make-up. Then we watched White Chicks and laughed so hard. We all started telling jokes that we knew. Then we started taking super weird selfies.

    Then Mia started acting funny she wasn't looking in the distance she was just ignoring me. I asked what was wrong and she started to cry. I asked why she was. She said because she's having so much fun with Aylin and I she doesn't want to leave.  I told her not to worry.

    We were all laughing when Mia stopped and started looking into the distance. I looked at her with fear and then looked at Aylin. She slowly put her finger up to her lip and as she said "shhh" she cried a single tear and the lights went out.

    Mia was gone. I didn't know what to do it was just Aylin and I we were fine. Nothing about my place seemed creepy anymore and we decided to sleep in peace.

~The Next Day~

     The next day my parents came home they asked where everyone else was Aylin just said they didn't show up. They asked why was there blood on the wall I said it was lipstick. I got in trouble for that but I didn't care really.

    Aylin went home a while after.

    I went to sleep in peace. But my dream wasn't that well I saw Aylin with Brooke, Erica, Dakota, and Mia. They were all standing there with their heads down I kept calling their names. But they just stood there heads down still. They all picked their heads up one by one slowly. Then they laughed at me. They all slowly picked their fingers up to there lips and the lights went out.

    After my dream I was with my friends but not on earth not even a place I heard of.  We were able to visit home but no one saw us. We would walk around town but still no one could see us. There were posters with our pictures saying MISSING IF FOUND CALL 911.

    Sadly we all knew we would never be found. We all lived together we don't know what the place we lived in was called though. We lived in peace kinda

     I guess I was the last one standing. But I just didn't think I would be the one to be last. We all lived fine. But even though we didn't want to we all haunted girls in their sleep we couldn't fight the temptation to stop. So we stopped trying but that's my story.
