My friends were hurt. I was hurt and I lost my family. I lost my home, and above all, I lost my security.
The attacks all started out of nowhere. Churches were invaded and burned. Kids were taken away and told everything they learned was a lie. If you didn’t change you were killed. Only a few managed to survive long enough for everything to end. Some ran. Some hid. Some changed and some died believing. It was dark times and every hour of those dangerous years still haunt my memory.
I tell this to warn the future so something like this will never happen. I tell so those who know what it is like will hold on to hope. Years have passed since the persecutions and the rule of the Advocates. I have moved on but these memories still hurt.
Take this. Pass it on. Never let these events happen.
