'Oh, Laura come on!' I heard Marcus shouting. I couldn't see where he was because of the crowd. The dorm room was too small for such a party.

'I'm too tired Marcus! I don’t know what the hell are you two taking, but surely need some now.' I shouted and point to him and Selene. We were dancing since we got here and they didn’t seem tired at all. But I didn't have strength left anymore.

Selene heard me and instantly run on the other side of the room, whispering something to Jake. After a minute I knew what it was. I kind of hated her for that, but I smiled.

My favorite salsa song was on.

'But you'll dance to that!' I heard Nate from behind. He caught my hand and started dancing on the rhythm. Because of the acting classes together we knew each other on those dances.

Everyone started staring at us as we were dancing. Nate swirled me and the next thing I know is that I am in Marcus's hug. He started dancing too. He was too good cause his roots were from Latin America. I laughed with my heart.

Selene was clapping. Her eyes were shining.

'Thank you!' I whispered and hugged her.

The rest of the night I was just enjoying my beer. Doing nothing else. Michael had left early ‘cause the next morning he had try-outs for the football team.

'Hey Sel! When are we gonna leave?' I shouted to Selene who was dancing with a random kid.

'Why? We're having a blast!' she replied.

'Yeah... You do obviously! But we have class tomorrow and...'

'Shut up Nerd!' she interrupted me and continued dancing.

The fact that she called me a nerd was on my mind all night and that's why I didn't left.

I went out to the balcony and my eyed wandered to the empty yard. Of course no one was there. Endless serenity.

My eyes caught a motion on the Woods. I tried to focus and see who it was. Logan!

I bent down and tried not to move. If he sees me again I'm screwed. I thought.

It's like he heard my thoughts and looked up to the balcony. He gazes for a little, smiled and continued to the teachers' dormitories.

He mustn't have seen me. Thank God that it was no one else with me outside.

'I'm really tired!' Selene said and took her shoes off.

'That didn't stop you dancing all night, Lady!' I said and tickled her.

'Stop!' she screamed and ran to my bed. She lied down.

'A penny for your thoughts!' I told her and lied next to her.

'I don't know... It has been 5 years already...' she replied.

'Yeah... I know. Do you remember the first time we met at this hotel in Bolivia?' I asked. 'We had dinner all together and discovered that we both have roots from Greece?' I continued.

'Of course... We sang together that Greek song...' she said and started singing. 'Δυνατα, Δυνατα... Να ταν ολα δυνατα τα αδυνατα...'

Andthensilenceagain.

'Let's just go to sleep now...' she said and slapped me n the hip.

'Yes ma'am!' I said and went under the sheets.

I couldn't sleep. And I thing she wasn't asleep too. I was thinking about the past. It was everything really weird. We had so much in common.  When we first discussed we learned that our grandparents were immigrants from Greece from our mothers' side. But that was the least...
