Minhyuk POV

I woke up curled on Hoseok's old bed. I let out a low whine as I remembered he was gone again. I miss him so much, he was my best friend along with Changkyunnie. Speaking of! I jumped up and ran out to mine and Changkyun's room, searching for my friend. Maybe today Luhan will let us go to the park! He did promise we could go outside the house someday, maybe today will be that day!

See, unlike Hoseok, me and Changkyun have never been adopted. Everyone loves the bunny and cat hybrids, but dog hybrids are known to be well... violent. But me and Changkyun have never hurt a fly. At least I haven't, Changkyun is good with a fly swatter. I snuck up on the sleeping Changkyun and pounced.

"OW! MINHYUK WHAT THE FUCK!?"  I giggled as Changkyun let out a low half hearted snarl.

"You love me Kyunnie! Admit it!" I laughed as my friend went to burrow under the blankets again. "Come on Changkyun! Today we should ask Luhan-"

"Ask me what?" I whirled to face Luhan's amused expression. "Well, go on, ask away."

I gulped and nodded. "Luhan, can me and Changkyun please go to the park today? We promise to be good!" Even as I talked, Luhan's expression turned sad. He shook his head with a sigh.

"I'm sorry Minnie, you know the rules. No one is allowed outside unless they get adopted. You haven't been marked yet. You or Changkyun. If someone were to find you, they wouldn't think twice about taking you for their own. I'm sorry, but the answer is still no."

"But you promised!"

"My promise meant you got adopted. That is the best way for you to live your life Minhyukkie and you know it. Now get cleaned up, Hoseok is coming to visit and he is bringing friends with him. Maybe one of them will adopt you." I perked up at that.

"Come on Kyunnie! Let's go get ready!" I jumped up and ran to the bathroom grabbing a pair of jeans and one of Hoseok's old hoodies. After a quick shower, I combed my hair and added a little eye liner, just enough to make my eyes really stand out. I jumped onto Hoseok's old bed and stared at the ceiling.

"Minhyuk! Changkyun! Someone is here to see you!"

"HOSEOK!" I jumped down the stairs and attacked my friend in a hug. "I missed you!" His familiar chuckle made me giggle and I pulled back to observe him and his... friends?

"Oh, Minhyuk, Changkyun, this is Hyungwon my .... not really master he said, Kihyun, he is a photographer, and Shownu, Hyungwon's security guard and friend. I wanted them to meet you."

The rest of his words drowned out as I took in the one called Shownu. He looked perfect! He was big and looked strong, had a high forehead and a kind face. All in all, I was in love.

"... And that is why we are here today! Uh,  Minnie?" I shook my head and looked at Hoseok.

"Yes?"

"Did you hear what I was saying at all?" I opened my mouth to speak, but Changkyun cut me off.

"He was too busy staring at Mr. Muscle over there." I snarled at him while the small man beside Shownu laughed. Shownu gave me a kind smile.

"I like him, Hyungwon-ah. He reminds me of me."

"Oh God, not another Kihyun! I can only handle one!"

I was frozen in shock as I stared again at Shownu. Yep, I am definitely in love. No denying it.

"Anyways, Mr. Chae, you said you wanted to adopt both Changkyun and Minhyuk as well?" Luhan said from behind us. My jaw dropped and Changkyun made a choked sound. We both turned to Hoseok with identical shocked expressions.

"Yes sir, see, I want what is best for Hoseok. And he needs his friends. If the only way to make him happy is having his friends, then why not?" Hyungwon said, a smile on his face. Luhan looked amused.

"Very well, but here's what I'm going to do. Since you are doing this for your Hybrid, I won't force you to pay for the other two. Just assure me you will treat them well and they are your's." Hyungwon nodded and that was it, me and Changkyun were finally adopted!

I pulled on Hyungwon's arm, ignoring Hoseok's small snarl of possessiveness. "Sir, can we go to the park?" He turned to me and smiled.

"Shownu, take Minhyuk-ah to the park. Also, get him some ice cream or something. Use my card and come home when ever you are done." With that he handed his card to Shownu and we were off.

"Thank you Mr. Shownu for taking me to the park." He turned to smile at me, his eyes disappearing into little crescents.

"My pleasure Minhyuk-ah. Anything to make a cutie like you happy." I blushed at his words. Maybe living with Hyungwon and Hoseok wouldn't be such a bad thing at all. In fact, maybe it would be the best thing.

I took a deep breath and beamed.

I feel like I'm finally home.
